We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. Helen and I are very familiar with bed and breakfast homes in many states. This is one of the best! Su and Andy are excellent hosts and made us feel quite at home. The attractions in the area and the bountiful antique shops are all close by. Ocean views...

I am always a little ambivalent about B&B; will it be not friendly, too friendly, overdone, underdone. This one was just lovely and we will certainly return. I care about decor. Our rose cottage suite was delightfully decorated, not a stitch was tacky and I loved the plentiful 'real' quilts. We saw another room that was far more 'tailored' but...

The host was nice, warm and welcoming. The room was spacious. The inn felt safe and well managed. Brwakfast was fine. It was all fine for a one night stay. The room and inn are over decorated, which may appeal to some. Lots of period knick knacks and silk flowers. Like staying in your great great aunts summer home. We...

It was nice that we were able to accommodate these guests for a single Saturday night when most of York has a two night minimum. And they our correct that our 1887 home, which once featured top designers as a York Historical Decorator Showcase, does appeal to guests across all age groups who appreciate authentic period fine details, antiques, vintage...

We highly recommend the Inn at Tanglewood. Su and Andy took great care of us! The breakfasts were fantastic, and the efforts they took to make sure we had a great time were appreciated. We took the recommended walk (with great notes by Andy), and could not have had a better time. The room and bed were comfortable, and the...

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating; house was very large with many different kinds of rooms and nooks on first floor to enjoy when you need time to read or just talk. Breakfast was lovely, homemade; we ate on porch. We had a two room suite, mainly because there were no rooms with king sized beds. The bath was...

We spent five nights at the Inn and we loved it. First, the innkeepers, Su and Andy, will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and easy. The daily breakfast they prepare is tasty, creative and filling. They will take dietary requirements you have into preparing food for you. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. There is...

We stayed in the York Harbour Suite and it was absolutely beautiful. It was spacious and comfortable. Su and Andy were very hospitable. Andy was also great with suggestions on things to do and how to get there. His directions were fabulous. We were doing a trip of coastal Maine and started at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall and it...

Four of us stayed at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall for 3 nights in July. It was a good choice for us, close to sights we wanted to see but not in the middle of the honky tonk of Ogonquit and Kennebunkport. We were able to visit easily and then come back to the calm and beauty of York and...

We were fortunate enough to stay here for two nights with our two kids (6 and 9 years old) in early July. This is a very friendly, well kept and charming B&B with a great location in the Yorks. The innkeepers Su and Andy really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home here. The...
