I spent 7 nights at nautical nook in January & came back for another 5 in February. This is genuine home stay where you are encouraged to make yourself at home. The hospitality was warm, both upstairs bedrooms were comfortable (one has an ensuite shower room, the other has its own bathroom with shower across the corridor). The cooked breakfast...

Excellent location, just across from the beach. Close to Mission Bay and just a bus ride from Auckland Central. The breakfast is outstanding and sets you up for the day. Trish and Keith make sure you have a wonderful stay. Much better than staying in a hotel.

We had 2 nights in Auckland and wanted something that was close enough to restaurants etc but wasn't in the city (as we hadn't been there before and didn't have a car). I had some specific things I was looking for in a B&B. We like staying in B&Bs preferably to hotels. This place "initially" appealed. The location wasn't really that...

For our family with 2 young children it was a perfect location for a visit to Auckland, a chill out at the bay and at the park. We enjoyed the amazing company of Trish and Keith. We enjoy the playground just outside their house in the big park. You can have a lovely walk (that a 4 year old can...

The waterfront is practically across the road, and there are plenty to do / visit around the area including the aquarium, or just relaxing stroll in the neighbourhood. Pity we only could stay 1...

In our recent visit to Auckland we had an unfortunate experience in that my husband had to go to the hospital for emergency surgery! Due to the earthquake in Christchurch a few days earlier, I couldn't find a hotel room, for the night he had to stay in the hospital. People from the effected areas where seeking shelter from the...

Keith and Trish are the most hospitable and friendly hosts you could ever wish to meet. Nothing is too much trouble for them. You will be welcomed with open arms. Their home is spacious, comfortable and in a great location for all the local and city attractions. If you're going to Auckland and want to learn first hand from knowledgeable...
