I joined some friends in a charity bike ride and collectively we had about 15 riders an additional 40 family members join us for the weekend. The Elmwood Resort was the perfect location for such an event/weekend and it's become an annual tradition among the group of us.
in addition to clean rooms, comfortable amenities, the property also features weekly entertainment (movie nights, singers, etc) which kept us all entertained.
We'll definitely be back.

Rented 3 bed 2 bath condo it was really nice ! Clean hotel staff very careful to make sure everything was sanitized great COVID system with towels and sheets. No maid service during the stay we were advised. Full kitchen and large rooms ! Very happy hotel is in a great location ! We will return in season next Aug for sure. Foliage was really nice in Oct. lots of restaurants and shops still open. It’s our second trip from NJ to Wells,ME during COVID and we were happy with our choice in a short get away. Maine is just lovely !!!!

I can't say enough about Elmwood. Situated in an absolutely lovely part of Southern Maine, my stay was one of the most wonderful, special, and memorable ever! The rooms are beautiful, clean, cozy, and well maintained. The staff is super kind, receptive, professional, and helpful. I had recently lost my long time apt to a flood and was displaced and seeking refuge and solace from a very traumatic experience. The kindness that was shown me by the Elmwood staff was unparalleled and I will always cherish and remember it. There is thoughtfulness and attention paid in and to every detail. I can't recommend this place higher! Thank you Elmwood Resort Hotel!!

Hotel resort was overall very nice. Apartment was clean and well stocked. Location was good and outside of busy downtown Kennebunkport. Only gave 3 stars since these units are typically built very cheaply and not very well insulated. Had people in upstairs unit walking nonstop till 1am then resume again at sunrise at 4:55am!! Totally rude! I would suggest that hotels/resorts place family’s on ground floor! Also all units seem to have big wall AC units in bedroom, way too noisy to sleep with this even on low speed. This unit is meant to cool the whole apartment and should be located elsewhere. For the price charged you should not be required to strip the beds and place all linens, towels and garbage outside the door! This is why you have housekeeping!

We booked a 3bedroom apartment for 10 for a 3 day weekend. When we got there they charged us an additional 400 on the spot for the room said they thought we only had 6 not 10. Though we booked a room that posted for 10 people and told them 10 people. Then the room had dirty soda cans under one of the beds upstairs. No linens for the pull out couch had to call and ask for them twice. And you have to strip all the beds when you leave and bag it up and the dirty towels. Basically doing all the housework when you leave.

Thank you for providing a review. It is extremely important to specify the number of adults in your party when making your reservation. Unfortunately you reserved your stay for 6 adults but when you arrived there were 10 adults in the party which does necessitate an increased cost. We hope you are able to visit us again in the future.

We just got back from our 1 week stay, my daughter, son in law and 3 young kids, at the Elmwood Resort Hotel. It was amazing. It was my daughter third stay. What stood out and I have never seen before (even though I have been to numerous resorts and on cruises) were the unlimited towels, dish towels, etc.
The rooms are very clean and so are the premises well maintained. The people who work at the Resort are very nice. The swimming pool is heated and the area is safe for the children. There is also an indoor pool. Location is great to go to the beach, grocery, restaurants, etc.
I highly recommend staying there without hesitation and we will be back!

We have stayed at the Elmwood Resort several times over the years and it has always been GREAT! Their condos are always in immaculate condition - very clean, updated and well maintained. The staff is always professional, pleasant and very helpful. The location is ideal - in Wells and is very close to all the major attractions - beaches, places to eat, things to do. The resort offers great specials and has indoor and outdoor (heated) pools and movie nights. This resort is great for families with plenty of room for the kids. We always have the Elmwood Resort on our travel agenda every year. Thank you again for a great stay!

Have stayed here several times dating back to the 90's. Great centralized location, comfortable rooms with a separate kitchen and living rooms space, indoor and outdoor pools, firepit, outdoor movie nights and more. Bed was very comfy and we are already planning our next stay.

This was our first visit to Maine and picked this location. It was clean and comfortable with a lot of room to spread out. It is centrally located and set back from the main road. Though we didn't use the swimming pool we did use the laundry room. The front office gal was accommodating when the laundry soap didn't come out of the machine. If you like donuts, Dunking donuts is across the street for your dining pleasure

The Elmwood Resort is the BEST! Thank you for yet another enjoyable visit to Maine. The system set up for COVID was perfect and we felt very comfortable being there. When we asked for towels they were promptly delivered. We found our unit ( #125) clean, stocked, and comfortable.
The firepit was an added bonus! Perfect for a glass of wine and star-gazing!

We do not have cribs, however there is a local company called "Vacationing Baby" that would be happy to supply them for you. They can be reached at 207.281.2490.
Unfortunately we are prohibited from allowing pets on the property by our condominium bylaws.
The trolley's don't begin running their regular routes until the end of June, however you may be able to charter a Trolley from one of the local companies. I would suggest calling the Molly Trolley Depot in Ogunquit at 207.360.2389
