The bed was hard. Our bed are much way better than theirs. The Wells beach is 1.2 miles so we walk the first day after we checked in and it is 30minutes walking.Come on now don't tell people it's 10minutes walking when it is not.Our room got AC on and everytime we are gone, comeback and we can smell weed. The next door was smoking pot.It stink. The lighting from outside was so bright at nigh time and the blinds don't do any good.Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as these aren't provided.Housekeepers are unfriendly. They don't have smile for the world.
their wifi was good.I enjoyed using it as I got tons of pictures that I uploaded
We did enjoy our time at Wells specilaly going to eat to resto and tried different sea foods.
Don't worry about the broken door frame. Just because it looks like it was repaired by a drunken monkey, doesn't mean it was kicked in by said drunken monkey.
The bathroom fan was installed in the early 30s and sounds original. The caulking around the tub was most likely added sometime in the 70s. And the shower head is straight out of a 1980s hospital.
The walls appear to be made from paper mache. It's always nice to hear what your neighbour's are doing.
All in all. If you're looking for a last minute place to sleep, and the tent park is full. This is a good deal.
Overpriced room for what you get..a bed, small tv, outdated AC, a child size bathroom, minifridge and tiny microwave.
As soon as we walked in we could smell it..gross.
Problems:
Light not plugged in..only available plug was behind the bed. Unsafe uncovered outlet.
Front desk lady not polite at all..did say to hang "do not disturb' sign on door if you don't want housekeeping. We hung it up, gone for half the day..returned to room..they had entered the room anyways. How dumb.
Towel: my shower towel had a huge hole in it..really!!?? $194 a night and they can't afford a new towel?
Ceiling:
Weird sticky plastic things stuck all over the ceiling above the bed..what the hell??
The whole place needs a rehab. Stay away..we wished we had.
