Surprised at the numerous 5 star reviews. It is not a five star, nor a 4 star motel/ cottage. Definitely not luxurious as previously described. It's a road side motel located off a heavily traveled road in Wells, Maine. The main building and front motel are old and really need a modern, clean update. Nevertheless, the room was clean, and...

Warm greetings at arrival and area questions answered easily by owners. Our spacious room was on the 2nd floor. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The table and chairs and fridge and microwave didn't leave the room cramped. The bathroom was a little dated but it was clean and well stocked with towels. Unfortunately, there was no hair dryer. The...

My husband and I stayed in cottage #1 -- we enjoyed the camp like atmosphere and felt it had adequate amount of space. It was very clean, had plenty of hot water and pressure for the shower and included a comfortable bed! Owners John & Cynthia were very pleasant! Oh... and we'll always remember our evening swim in the pool...

The owner is the best! He recommended several delicious places to eat. He upgraded our room when he found out it was our anniversary. It was so nice to be treated so well. Our room had two memory foam beds. So delightful. The hotel is very centrally located. We would definitely recommend Coast Village to anyone and everyone!

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend, and the location is both its pro and its con. You are close to everything...but traffic getting out of the parking lot is a beast at times. Room was clean, although the bathroom was tiny, dated and a bit moldy in the shower area. Decent sized room, but although they state...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in June in one of the queen rooms. The room was clean and the bathroom was recently renovated. The walls are a bit thin, we could hear the neighbor's cough and the traffic from route 1. The refrigerator made a lot of strange noises, which we notified the owners on checkout...

The present owners have owned this motel for several years and are in the process of renovating the rooms with new décor and upgraded bathrooms. All the beds on the property are NEW--this is a big improvement and much needed from my last stay here in 2010. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and this is reflected among the...

This was a perfect stop on our tour of the northeast. My boyfriend and I stayed just one night but could have stayed many more. The staff welcomed us and really helped us find the best of the area (it's in a perfect location to go north to Kennebunk Port or south to Ogunquit in just 10-15 minutes). The room...

Very nice little motel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Beds were comfortable. Room was simple but that's all I needed. Liked that it had a mini fridge, that was helpful. They also had free coffee in the main office in the morning. Would stay there again for sure.
