We have stayed at VBTS many years and would never go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing and have everything you could need. Great location and value. We will be back again in 2023...can't wait!!

Unit 10G at Village by the Sea in Wells Maine is a lovely 2-bedroom, ocean and marsh view condo. It was impeccably clean and the front desk made our late check in, thanks to Southwest canceling our flight, so easy! The staff is helpful and kind. The location is fantastic. Close to the beach and fantastic restaurants and very easy to get to from Boston Logan airport, even in the dark. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. Our family visited and we had plenty of room to entertain and the kids used the indoor pool. Our stay, Feb. 16-19, 2023 was delightful with the exception of internet connection issues but that is a problem at my sister's lovely Maine home, too. We will definitely be staying here again.

My recent 2 night getaway at VBTS was so relaxing. The unit was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and quiet. Check-in was a breeze and the digital key makes it so easy when going out and checking out. I was able to leave very early without any problems, plus you don't have that worry of "did I bring the room key?" whenever you do go out. It's close enough to everything in Wells, yet set back off the main road so you don't feel or hear the "busyness" of anything going on. I've stayed here several times, in different units, over the past years and I have never been disappointed or ever had any problems or issues. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. You could stay elsewhere when you go to Maine, but there is no need to, when VBTS is truly like a home away from home...just wonderful.…

Visited for 3 nights with my boyfriend. Absolutely loved the spacious condo w beautiful views of the water/ marsh. Including all the amenities of home. We had breakfast on our patio!! Yes in February! Gorgeous weather! Very quiet. Lots of restaurants near by. Beautiful beaches all around the area.

Our last visit at VBTS had us feeling a bit disappointed. Our family has been staying there annually for 21 years and we typically have a wonderful experience. We decided to stay for a second time this year and booked a condo for New Years weekend. We chose to stay at VBTS for the specific reason that we were able to chose our room. We had a party of 6 so it was important to find a room that would fit us all. We also wanted a condo on the bottom floor so that we would not have to worry about keeping our downstairs neighbors up as the floors are thin. Upon check in, we were handed a key to the wrong room. When I mentioned that we had booked a different condo, we were told that they had changed our room and no notes were left as to why. We also never received a phone call letting us know that they needed to change our room. The room that we were moved to did not have the ideal bedding situation for 6 guests as we were short one bed. We would have appreciated a phone call letting us know that our room needed to be changed prior to checking in so that we would have had time to accommodate the changes. Additionally, we paid the same price for the room we were moved to though it did not completely satisfy what we had originally booked.…

The place was very clean and modernized. It was central to where we wanted to shop and visit. It was nice to have the space for three couples to spread out with a living room and kitchen versus a typical hotel. The Spectrum TV/internet system was fantastic and a very nice addition since the last time we stayed there (over five years ago).

We've stayed here MANY times but this time was NOT good. Room was outdated, livingroom fireplace was not working, garbage disposal was broken and sink kept backing up, master bath shower was AWFUL with cheapest shower head on earth. TV system was super complicated and incorrectly labeled, so it took forever to figure out how to reconnect cables to get cable to work

I've been to Village by the sea since the opening in 1986. Always clean. If you miss something, just ask. It's a great place with view or partial view to the ocean. First visit in 1986 or 1987 with two babies: you have everything you need. And this is still the case with no babies. Some appartements have been renovated. I've been there for more than 30 years and I still recommand! Good vacation!
