A major factor in booking a hotel is whether it has a fitness facility. This hotel does have one, however, it doesn’t open until 8:30am. There was no signed posted on the door, so I was rather irritated that I got up at 5:30am to workout and found that my key wouldn’t unlock the

Love the Fireside Inn. It’s our “go to” when we’re up in the area and stay here about 6 times a year. They are pet friendly, with super clean rooms, very comfortable beds, thoughtful extra touches like bottled water waiting in the mini fridge. Staff is fantastic. Location is

During a recent surgery, my husband and I needed to stay at a motel nearby because of icy roads we would have had to travel on our 1 hour drive home. The staff of Fireside Inn & Suites went out of their way to accomodate us, giving us a first-floor room and even allowing us to

We have not been to the Fireside yet, however if the response and help we received from Nancy and Trish is any indication of what we are to expect when we arrive in April we are excited about the weekend we have chosen to visit. They both have been VERY kind helping us decide to

Dear Mr. Healy, Thank you for your kind words about Nancy and Trish. We look forward to your visit and hope to continue to earn your trust. Interesting comment on the Whoopie Pies. The ones we give away are from Wicked Whoopies of Farmingdale, Maine. I'm interested in your comparison. Being "from away", since I have only lived in Maine 25 years, I can remain neutral in the riotous debate over which state can claim the first Whoopie Pie. However, my wife, being a fourth generation Mainer would insist that our friends in the Keystone State are mistaken in their claim that the chocolaty confection has its origins south of Kittery, Maine. For fun, google "where was the Whoopie pie was invented". It makes interesting reading, with no real answer. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the Whoopie pies here. Also, try one from Governor's Restaurant when you are here. Sincerely, Barry Asalone

Is this pet freindly
Good Morning I think the answer that you received earlier was for our Belfast Fireside Inn & Suites. In Waterville, we don't have a waterfront; but we do have pet friendly rooms. And our Pet fee is $20 per week. Thanks, David Connolly Assistant General Manager Fireside Inn & Suites Waterville
