This room wasn't clean. Thick dust bunnies along the baseboards behind the furniture. There was no iron, no luggage rack and no kleenex. The dirty room is why I ranked it so low. The door only had a deadbolt lock, but no secondary lock such as a chain or the newer type that prevents the door from being opened. The internet was very weak and could only connect sitting on one side of the bed near the wall.
We stayed one night at this hotel. There were several issues. The room smelled bad. They didn’t have another room. The smoke detector was covered with plastic and when we called the desk they said they would have the manager contact us. He did not contact us. Also security is not great. There is no safety lock. If I went there as a woman alone I would not stay there for that reason. It is fairly clean except for the odor…
My daughter and her military husband booked a room.. They have a cat that travels with them. They got there, and found out they don't allow cats. This was AFTER they had already paid. They did get a full refund, but it left them having to find a last minute CAT Friendly hotel and this added a financial strain to them as the only one they could find cost $200 and they still have to wait for the refund to be returned their bank. MAKE SURE YOU CALL AHEAD TO FIND OUT WHAT KINDS OF "PETS" are allowed in a "Pet Friendly" Hotel!!!
I wasn't expecting much - just needed a place to stay after a Phish concert in Bangor. Room was spotless and everything was in working order. Bed was clean & comfortable (sheets smelled wonderful) and the people that worked there were friendly & accommodating.
From the check in/out that happened through a slot window on freezing cold days (no idea why they wouldn’t open the front door and let anyone into the lobby), the pot stink in the hallway, and cigarette smoke smell in the room, a noisy heating unit and TV that barely showed picture, bathroom door that would stick, one circuit breaker taped to the wall and nowhere to hang anything - would have left if there was anywhere else that had avail. Only positive was the shower pressure and temperature. Place needs a lot of work
This was our first stop on a two week vacation. When had been driving for seven hours when we checked in. All we wanted was a clean room, comfy bed and be able to take a shower in the morning. They had it all. Good for an overnight stay.
Our non-smoking room used to be a smoking room sometime in the past. Had to open windows, turn on AC and use almost an entire bottle of febreze to make the room smell better. Someone had disconnected the smoke detector in the room and the room next door that was a non-smoking room had a smoker that sat by his window and smoked. Stayed 4 days, but if I had it to do over would have stayed elsewhere.
Pet friendly at a reasonable price. Clean but dated rooms that were the, quietest in a week of motels. Breakfast was a disappointment as was unwillingness to honor AAA/AARP rate as other motels where we used Booking.com did.
Clean and pleasant room sufficient for an over night stay. With tea/ coffee facilities plus microwave and fridge. Friendly receptionist on check in Continental breakfast was included but we did not partake of it so cannot comment.
When the budget is tight, this is probably a good choice in Waterville. Located right off the firrt Waterville exit for 95, there are a number of Fast food place close by. the place is small and an the décor is older. The rooms are small/ The rooms are clean and the staff is a-ok. Very close to local Waterville Airport and Colby College
