Recent MC trip along coast of Maine, stayed at Mood'y cabins. Clean, good Internet and excellent owners. Short walk down to the Moody's diner at the bottom of the hill. Great food, but save room for the excellent pie! Don't go through the area without stopping in.

I always stay here on my way to Southwest Harbor. Like stepping back in time. Cabins are clean. Beds are comfortable. And It's quiet. And you can walk to a historic diner down the hill. I have dinner there and breakfast on my way out. If you really need a flat screen TV, AC and room service don't stop here....

Moody’s Motel is perched high on a hill up a long, steep driveway about 2/10 of a mile long. It’s set far back from the traffic noise of Route 1 so it’s very quiet there. The owner who checked me in was very personable. On arrival at my unit, the first thing I noticed was the large backyard with a...

The owners were very friendly, nice, and accommodating. We called at 9 PM and the owner was so nice and helpful in getting there in the dark. The cabins are clean. These three ladies from Minnesota loved it.

In the interest of full disclosure, whenever I am in Maine I make it a point to stay at a cabin at Moody's. Being a senior, that's going back many, many years, not to mention all the years I went with my family as a child. Staying at Moody's, is an experience in itself, not unlike staying at an old...

Been coming here for 20 years. Parents started taking as children. Always had a blast. Now as an adult I am bringing my family here. The owners are incredibly sweet and pleasant and have been so great to us for every stay. Planning to bring some friends to grow the Moodys family.

My husband had stayed at Moody's on previous motorcycle trip. His enthusiasm made us decide to stay 2 nights this past September while on road trip to New England to see family. I was not disappointed in the cabin. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the cost was most reasonable. Moody's Diner is right down the hill...

A few reviews down on this page, someone complained bitterly about their stay at this lovely, rustic little compound. My Mom & I stayed at Moody's in Aug 2015 and found it to be quiet, comfortable, clean and adorable. Staff is great, beds are comfortable, and love their kitchenette units and the ice machine/ice buckets they provide outside the office....

Moody's is a unique place to stay. It is not huge, plush, or fancy. It is reasonably priced, extremely quite, it has a very comfortable bed and very good wifi. If you want all of the amenities of the Hilton, book a room at the Hilton. If you just want serenity and a comfortable place to stay (that happens to...

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and had a nice stay. The staff is friendly, and keep the room clean. The only down fall is ,wish there was BBQ pits there. The grounds were keep nice and clean. If we were to stay in Maine, we would stay here again, as this is a returning visit.
