Jim and Meghan, (the owners) were incredibly friendly and helpful to me and my family as first time RVers at the first campground we ever pulled into an hour after closing time. Upon Arrival, I sheepishly explained I was completely out of Propane. Jim said he would fill it immediately. I then started the process of doing the hookups for the camper, and I got the connection from the camper to the sewer wrong, and Jim (returning with the propane tanks he filled at close to 11pm at night) kindly put on some rubber gloves and helped me. He is a model of customer service. If you choose to stay near Sebago Lake, stay here. You will not be disappointed.
Given that it was to rain that evening, we were fortunate enough to be able to rent a large cabin. As the kitchen was well equipped, we brought in food and prepared a nice meal. Staff were very attentive and friendly. It was nice to be I the “dry” that night
My husband and I booked the adult weekend. We were looking forward to the camping, the comedy show, the pool and hot tub and the little fishing pond. The pool was closed, which was not disclosed, the fishing pond looks like a sewage run off swamp and our rustic cabin, while rustic came with some sort of smell which made it impossible for us to be inside. We did not stay. The pictures on the website make the place look so cute and cozy, unfortunately it was the opposite. Also when we called and informed them we were not staying, we didn't even get a call back.
We love camping at family and friends. They have a lot of activities for the kids. The hot tubs and pool are a great hit also. Check out their website for this year's upcoming activities. September brings adult weekend a great way to end the camping season.
We are new RV'rs. That said, the owner helped us back into our site and came back to pump out our tanks, spending time with us, teaching us ins and outs of RV'g. They really care about their customers and their campground. It was over Labor Day weekend and they planned festivities including a DJ! And only a short distance to Sebago Lake which can be seen on the road to and from. Clean bathrooms and showers!
