Gracious hosts, comfy room and outstanding breakfast is what you will find here. Located on the main street in Southwest Harbor but the main street is not all that main as this is a very sleepy town with not too much going on. Wonderful restaurants near by but the sidewalks are "rolled up at night" and this is exactly what...

The Kingsleigh Inn in Southwest Harbor is a remarkable b&b with wonderful views of the harbor from your private balcony, breakfasts on the porch (if weather permits) with interesting choices each day and multiple courses, and wine & cheese available from 5-6 each evening that gives you an opportunity to talk with the other guests. The menu emphasis is on...

From the minute we were greeted by our hosts, we felt welcomed and comfortable. They are very competent innkeepers. Everything is done with class and taste! Pam is a wonderful baker and we could start each day with something fresh from her oven and espresso while sitting on the porch looking out at the harbor. Tea, coffee and cold drinks...

We had a lovely 3-day stay at the Kingsleigh earlier this month. The inn is very pretty, breakfasts were wonderful, and Pamela and Bryan are gracious and very helpful. Southwest Harbor is a great place to get away--fairly quiet, beautiful harbor, and several excellent restaurants. And who really needs anything besides Thurston's Lobster Pound, which is quite close-by.

We loved our stay at the Kingsleigh Inn. The breakfasts were delicious and used fresh local ingredients (some straight from the garden)! The hosts are friendly and personable and we appreciated their recommendations for activities and local dinner spots. We loved sitting in the living room chatting each night- it is nice that there are several different siting areas so...

This beautiful bed and breakfast was in the heart of quiet Southwest Harbor, Maine. Just 15 minutes from Bar Harbor with it's shopping and restaurants, this gorgeous B and B was the perfect retreat. The owners Pamela and Bryan were the ultimate hosts with their gourmet 3 course breakfasts and wine and hors d'oeuvres hour. We stayed in the Turret...

This Bed & Breakfast is great if you look for a quite, confortable and charming place. The hosts, Pamela and Bryan, are very nice and gave us several excelent hints about places to visit in the island and a great place to eat lobster. The 3-course breakfast is divine and unforgettable.

I booked this B/B mainly because of the descriptions of the gourmet breakfasts. We had stayed in Bar Harbor 2 nts and then here in SW Harbor. Unless your a hiker/biker there is nothing to do in the area. Wish Id stayed in BH. The B/B was cozy, great local history coffee table books, nice verandah to sit on. Long...

We've been staying at this inn regularly for more than twenty years, and I can assure you that it has never been better. New owners Pamela and Bryan "get it" -- they know how to please the kind of person who comes to this remarkable island for a summer get-away. The mix of friendliness and privacy is perfect, but the...

We stayed in a front room the first night and the turret suite the last 2 nights we were there (stayed a total of three nights). The front room is on the street side of Southwest Harbor and may be a little noisy if you want to nap in the day time (we had early flight and my girlfriend wanted...
