My friend and I had a lovely weekend staying at The Lodge. Very warm welcome as always. Will look forward to returning in January 2017. Highly recommended and the new wine bar is excellently located just across the street.

We loved the Lodge… Val warmly welcomed us into her lovely home. We had a upper level room which was quite comfortable. She kindly made a reservation for us at a restaurant (Le Box) that was only steps away….Great food. After dinner we walked around town, admiring the architecture. Be sure to walk along the river. Val gave us a...

I had an incredible stay at The Lodge last week while at Bramham Horse Trials. Val was fantastic and there for anything I needed. There was an excellent shop a very short walk away, and lots of delicious restaurants around too. Could not fault anything, and the location is perfect. Thank you!

Excellent rooms in a beautifully furnished house. We were warmly greeted and shown to our very comfortable rooms. The palatial lounge was made available for our post dining drinks. Breakfast was wonderful with freshly prepared fruit, warm croissants and superb coffee. The only drawback is the lack of en suite facilities.

The bathrooms have recently been installed with power showers giving excellent pressure or you can take a bath instead if guests wish to do so." The implication of this is that each room has its own bathroom. This not...
