We needed a place to stay while visiting for my nephews graduation. We stayed a couple of nights. The staff was so kind & friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. The Sanford Inn was perfect for what we needed. :)

I've stayed many nights here! Everyone is very nice and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and homey. It's not the Ritz nor do they try to be it. You will find the room clean, fresh, comfortable beds and pillows. Free wifi and a small refrigerator make this place enjoyable. And the price won't break the bank.

I loved this place. A throwback to a 1950's motel. The only thing missing was metal motel chairs outside the room. We were in town briefly for a marathon and stayed one night. It was convenient. More so, it was roomy. Rooms were large. I loved the ability to park outside the room. And the AC worked well and offered...

Friendly and helpful management. Very clean and comfortable room with mini refrigerator and a microwave and a large new TV. The rooms are typical 1970's style. Some may feel it needs to be updated but as an old guy, I felt nostalgia for years past. I usually travel on business for a major multinational and usually in expensive, upscale hotels...

We stayed here on 7/3/15. The room was very dated, needed major renovations. Very expensive for the size and type of the room. It has a small breakfast, consisted of coffee, bagels and few store bought coffee rolls, some apples/oranges. You could sit on the toilet and wash your hands at the same time. Would not stay here again

On our way to Wells, ME we wanted to stay overnight instead of waiting to get to beach areas without a reservation. Not too far from highway. Family run business, big and clean rooms, tv, comfortable beds, great water pressure and plenty of hot water for shower. Breakfast was typical continental and plenty of bagels and juice Fresh food and...

Sanford Inn, a little red inn nestled in the pines on Main St. in Sanford, is just what you need when you need to stay in Sanford. First of all, the location is well situated to Sanford and is nearby to grocery stores, coffee, and fast food---something that can be a bit of a problem when dealing with lodging in...

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel close to North Berwick and took a chance on Sanford Inn. I got a room in the front near the office which was fine, less congested than the side/back part of the hotel. The room was of decent size and pretty comfortable. Bathroom was upgraded with new fixtures and had an upper window....

The hotel is older and the room wasn't fancy but it was very very clean! New tub and fixtures. We stayed in a room in the back part of the hotel. We arrived late and had to wake the manager but he was so nice! Bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and clean. Great value. Bed was very comfortable and mini fridge and microwave were very convenient. Motel was a little drive from the beach, but the area is quiet and affordable which is a nice trade off.
