This is a motel over a sports bar, not a " hotel" by any means! TV channels were limited to 5, there was no place to hang your clothes, no phone, and had no maid service of fresh towels/linens or trash removal during my 5 night stay! There was a small microwave and refrigerator which did make it convenient! There was also a small coffee maker that the plastic cups they offered didn't even fit in! I do have to say that during a snowstorm during my stay they offered to move my car off the street at 1am as there was a parking ban in front of the motel!

no hot water

don't waste your money hit yourself in the head with a hammer if you don't listen i have to write 200 minimum characters so i guess they want more bad info in this review offered coffee with a small one cup coffee maker the cup would not fit in the machine but most important no hot water i stopped driving home from skiing and i was very disappointed

reasonable accomodations in Rumford, Me

Hotel Rumford was a saving grace after I was the victim of a con artist (Jim Adinolfi) who advertises a low cost rooming house for indigents as the magnificent Harris Hotel. Hotel Rumford is actually a motel situated above a restaurant and sports bar, which provides clean, air-condition rooms with large flat screen televisions at a reasonable price. The downstairs restaurant offers excellent meals and is the local meeting place for the surrounding communities.

Everything you need and nothing you don't.

On our road trip from Mount Washington to the coast of Maine, we stopped in Hotel Rumford Sports Bar for a couple drinks and a quick bite. Wow!! This place is awesome. We ended up trying quite a bit on the menu (spicy cheese curds, soft pretzels, burrito, taco, blueberry cobbler and quite a few cocktails). Everything was awesome!! We ended up staying the night upstairs in their hotel which was small, but perfect for us. Very clean!!! The cook was fantastic and Cassie, our bartender was perfect! Thank you guys for such a great time!!
