Although I've explored the Rangeley area in the past, this was my first stay at Niboban but hopefully not my last. The camps are located on Rangeley Lake directly adjacent to Rangeley State Park which makes for extremely peaceful and relaxing surroundings. A morning watching the mist rise from the lake followed by a day of hiking and watching the...

This is our 3rd visit to Niboban Camps. We usually stay in the honeymoon cottage, which is lovely. This year we stayed in cabin 3; a two bedroom lakefront cabin. When we arrived, the place was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We spent most of our time relaxing on the screened in...

Thank you, Susan, for your wonderful review. We're so glad you could enjoy one of the 2-bedroom cabins ideally located at the waters edge for relaxing on the porch. We have just received confirmation that we will have high speed internet connection available directly to our property in the next month, each individual cabin will be connectyed vs. just the...

I absolutely loved this place. I can't imagine a better vacation. Gorgeous scenery, perfectly equipped and well maintained cabins. They are spread apart on beautiful property facing very clean lake and beautiful mountains in the distance. I have never felt so happy or relaxed. Will be back most definitely. Perry was a wonderful host and people working the grounds friendly...

Can't wait to go back! Did not want to leave. Heaven on earth. Just the amount of privacy you need with all the amenities. Such a beautiful place! Highly recommend. Lake so clear and pristine. Cabins like new and spotless.

About ten years ago our children said, "when can we go back to Rangely and Niboban" after a vacation elsewhere. The cabins at Niboban are really well done. The services are excellent, the staff are friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoy just sitting by the lake and watching the clouds change, reading and sleeping, going for walks and our campfires...

My husband and I stayed with our two dogs in Cabin #10. Spacious, clean, situated right on the lake. We hiked every day, kayaked, canoed. Really can't imagine a better place to spend our vacation. Great people in the cabins near us.

I stayed here for a week in August with my 23 year old son and our two dogs. We had a wonderful time. The cabins were in very nice condition. The camp owner, Perry, was very friendly and welcoming. The lake was beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Saddleback Marina and drove it from the marina...

Thank you for your positive review and including such helpful details. There was zero internet when we purchased Niboban Sporting Camps in July, 2014. We were able to get service locally, but are looking forward to high speed service coming to us this year which will connect directly into each cabin vs. the lodge/lounge are only. So glad you enjoyed...

First of all, I am very surprised that there are not more reviews of this fantastic compound. In Maine, they call these 'camps' but they aren't a camp in the sense of a kid's summer camp. Our cabin is so well maintained that it looks brand new. I am writing this in 2016 and I can see from the photos...

These camps are very nice. We were there for Snodeo weekend. When we arrived the lights were on and the heat was turned up. Very clean camps. First a thank you to the owners for supporting a local non-profit fund raiser by donating a 2 night stay at their facility. My partner and I won it. We decided to use it in the fall. A quiet time and usually pretty. We were ahead of the color but didn't mind. Cabins are in pristine shape! Clean, well appointed...
