We have stayed at this Ramada a few times when travelling. It is an older hotel and needs upgrading, but we expected this. What we did not expect is the dirt. The room was dusty and overall just grimy. The lady at reception told us we should have complained, but we arrived late from a very long day in the car. We just wanted to get to sleep. She was going to inform housekeeping. We will not be staying here again.

The area around the hotel doesn't appear safe. Hotels is old and worn. Dirty carpet, streaks on doors and elevator. Not worth the money. Had a hair on my pillow and bathtub. People did not appear the friendliest like the bartender at the grille.

We booked for two nights and extended our stay for a third night - Staff were very friendly. We had a dog with us and staff were friendly to him as well. I also used the pool and hot tub and they were clean and welcoming

April School vacation we planned a one night stay-cation at the Ramada. I should have known better, being that we live less than a few miles away from the Ramada. But, I unfortunately trusted the 3 star rating. We live near the Clarion hotel and we were looking for step up from that hotel. We were looking a simple hotel that felt safe, clean, decent food, and had a pool. The Ramada failed on all fronts! The only good thing about this hotel is the exceptionally patient staff behind the front desk. This staff has an incredibly hard job. While trying to perform their jobs, they are constantly monitoring unwelcome guests and guest who have been served far too much alcohol at their bar and restaurant. This creates a unsafe space for hotel employees and guests. We were a party of three one adult and two children under the age of 10. My children both expressed feeling unsafe while we were outside of our room. One of many incidents included a very intoxicated man who was a hotel guest at their bar. He came towards us calling my children his children and walked right into a wall, and fell down right in front of them. They have never knowingly seen a drunk person. Now thanks to our stay at the Ramada they have. This was one of many experiences we had that led us to feel unsafe outside of our room. In our room there was a pubic hair on the ice bucket tray. The rooms are dingy and bathrooms feel very worn in and dirty. We made sure our doors were bolted and secure. The doors felt secure with the exception of the patio door but we were on the 3rd floor. We did have dinner at the Seasons restaurant. Skip the food and get dessert. The desserts were really good. The mozzarella sticks we ordered only one actually had cheese in it. The tater tots were freezer burned and you could taste that even though they were smothered in cheese. Finally the pool and hot tubs. Algae around the pool platform allows for an extra slippery surface and of course fungus. The hot tubs were very cloudy and felt a layer of slime on our skin after being in them. The pool lining is lifted in many areas and has a ring of dirt around the interior edges. In the early morning we found a non guest using the pool area to bath. Next time we are looking for a average hotel for a stay-cation that feels safe, clean, decent food and a pool we will choose the Clarion near our house. Or perhaps we will splurge and get a good quality hotel elsewhere in town.

The room was a little dated but had everything we needed. We were on the side facing the highway exit but didn't hear one peep of traffic. Went down to the lounge which had live music (good band) and VERY strong drinks! Love that the checkout isn't until noon. Went to breakfast at the attached restaurant (Stacks) and wasn't very impressed, but that's separate ownership. Would definitely stay here again.

I would never stay here again!! I didn’t book the stay, but was part of a girls trip. The photos online are clearly very old. The bed was lumpy, the staff was not helpful & our room was never cleaned. Also, it’s across the street from a strip club!

Horrible place. I reserved a room for a Technician. He sent me pictures and video of the nasty room. I was told he reported it to staff and nothing was done. Room was non smoking and smelled of smoke and another smell that was stated that it smelled like garbage. Dog barking most of the night above him and the toilet was not secured to the floor.

This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. my family will not be back. It started with pubic hairs on the toilet. The room was not properly cleaned. One of the hot tubs did not work and staff did not seem to care about it ever getting fixed.

I can’t understand how this hotel is getting such high reviews. I booked this place for three nights while we waited for our temporary housing to open up in Portland (husband is a travel nurse). After we checked in, I was following my toddler around while she explored the room (as she always does), and I could see that it was not clean. The first thing I noticed was a thick layer of dirt and dead bugs in the sliding door track. I was willing to let it go, I can see why the area might be missed, although it looked as though the door track hadn’t been cleaned in a year. Then I started wiping down the high touch surfaces with a sanitizer wipe (I always do this at hotels), and the fridge handle and door was caked in brown goo which came off on the wipe. Then I saw the crumbs and thick layer of dirt around the mini fridge. So I moved the mini fridge and saw that it was filthy underneath. I also noticed the arms of the chair in the room were crusty. The final straw was the condom wrapper and random trash behind the tv stand. The hotel tried to put up a fight at first, but they eventually gave in and let me cancel with a full refund. I would absolutely not recommend anyone stay here. Also, the city of Portland is under a mask mandate, but not a single employee was masked and neither were the customers.
