We spent the first part of our Maine honeymoon at the Portland Harbor Hotel, and we were truly pleased by the experience. The location is fantastic: right at the harbor's edge, basically close to everything. Timely picked-up from the train station by a valet, we found the staff to be pleasant and extremely helpful, the rooms charming and enjoyable, and...

I frequent the Portland Harbor Hotel for business trips. If you are looking for clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, this is a great hotel. Portland is a small city with a lot to offer. This location can't be beat for hitting up any kind of restaurant, bar, or any of the cool shops. If you don't want to venture out, the...

This is a great hotel. The valets are great, checkin staff is great and the rooms are very clean and modern for an older hotel. I really like this hotel. The only thing I don't care for is that the bar closes early....I believe it's 11pm great hotel

This hotel is just about perfect. Seriously, I have only good things to say. To start, its location is terrific in the heart of things on Fore Street. And even with this location, our room was incredibly quiet although we did face the beautiful interior garden so that probably helped. We also had a bit of a water view which...

Room was tired and no pillow topper for the bed. Could have been in any basic hotel in the country. Came back to the hotel for nightcap around 10 pm Sat of Labor Day weekend and the bartender/waiter was pretty rude. Guess he was hoping to go home early that night. Dog barking across the hall from us from 7am-?...

The service is outstanding at Portland Harbor--everyone goes out of their way to help you. It's my 3rd trip there and love how easy it is. The rooms are nice and the staff flexible..really like that it is pet friendly. Perfect location to walk around the center of town to everything. Best to go out to eat as Portland has...

Had a great stay at the PHH during August 25-27th. The amenities include great location, morning coffee and sweets upon request. You can also enjoy the hot tub down at the Spa ( steam room and sauna too). There is a rather large gym for the fitness buffs and nice clean locker room. The head bellman was very helpful for...

There is nothing not to like about the hotel. This was our 4th stay and seems better each time. Bloc action in the old port is perfect, so close to dining, shopping and waterfront. The property itself is top notch, rooms are delightful and super clean. We've eaten breakfast in the restaurant and have always been pleased with the quality...

This was our second stay at this property and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite Portland hotels. The rooms are nicely appointed if a bit small, but my favorite aspect of the hotel is the lobby bar and restaurant. The food was incredibly good and the drinks are fantastic. The ambiance is so nice with nice sitting areas around...

The staff is excellent from the moment we were valet parking with Nathan/Ethan our car on arrival where we left it in the garage for 4 nights with our bikes and golf clubs, around town the hotel's free shuttle ride in a sedan, the front desk staff I especially loved Mara's attitude and our housekeeper Vanenssea(Spelling) who kept our room immaculate...
