Lovely hotel, beautiful accommodations and extremely clean...the staff is amazing! Perfect location in downtown Old Port. Quaint shops and cute restaurants very close to the beautiful waters/port. The hotel met and exceeded our expectation!

Looking for a quick getaway for our anniversary and wanted a hotel in the Old Port area. PHH had a perfect location, within walking distance of all the attractions we had in mind including the Portland Art Museum and the East. Cozy, excellent breakfast in Eve's at the Garden on the premises.

I loved this hotel. Parking is valet and they also bring your bags up to your room for you so you don't have to worry about lugging everything around. The lobby is very inviting and the staff was very friendly. Check-in was simple and quick. When we got to our room, we were instantly impressed. As soon as you open...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, we knew before our visit that the hotel is going through a renovation but we figured based on reviews that we had read it would be fine. We found our room to be OK but it was definitely in need of a freshening up. The throw pillows on the bed were filthy....

My wife and I were glad we had a car to visit the out lying areas- Elizabeth Light House was majestic & Freeport made for some nice shopping- Though at a days end- this Hotel...

With apologies for how belated this post is, my husband and I had a wonderful romantic long weekend in June at the Portland Harbor Hotel. We were celebrating a mini babymoon, and coincidentally it was Old Port Festival weekend. Mentioning the festival because I was nervous upon check-in to learn of the festival and find our room looked down on...

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. I have switched to trying other hotels because of their linen quality. sheets are substandard for this day and time. I just called to ask if they were sold out for this Saturday night I was looking for a 3 night stay two rooms, I did not state this...

This is our second visit to the Portland Harbor Hotel. It is a great place to stay. The staff are to a person pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. There is a pleasant courtyard with fire pit to relax around. The only reason I didn't give it five stars across the board is that...

Very pleased with our stay and overall visit to this hotel. Hotel was located in good proximity to local features. Room was somewhat small in size, but the bathroom made up the bedroom shortcoming. Garden area was nice with the heater for evening pleasure.

We stayed at the hotel during the renovation work which we dd not fnd dsrptve. We bked ths htel becase f ts reputation for being a prime establishment in Portland. Unfortunately we were disappointed in several ways. While the valet service for the car garage was very friendly and helpful, we found the staff to be rather curt and unwelcoming....
