While on a cruise, my elderly parents had a medical emergency and my father was removed from the ship and admitted to Maine Medical Center. I flew to Maine to help them through this stressful event in an unfamiliar town. The staff at LA Quinta...More
Hotels were full over Columbus day weekend and prices were high downtown. We "settled" for the La Quinta a mere 5-10 minute drive from downtown. It was totally worth it. We paid less and paid for $5-$7 Uber rides downtown.

Apparently no time soon. They are going floor by floor ... and have only one floor done. The outside is also getting a make-over and is completely covered in plastic sheeting ... and it would be a suprise if they were going to try to do anything exterior during the cold of winter. Knowing La Quinta, it will be very nice when done ... but it is going to be a long wait.
