Friendly welcome and nice, clean accommodations. We liked the location which is within walking distance to the old port area and streets of beautifully restored mansions. Excellent breakfast here, and Adam made excellent suggestions for restaurant dining.

The Chadwick Bed & Breakfast was so very accommodating, this was our first visit to the Portland area and we could not be happier with our choice of where to stay. Great breakfasts, each morning. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We received many great suggestions from the staff about local restaurants and attractions nearby.

We loved that we came into a place with wine, snacks, and refreshments available for the taking. (the wine was added to the room) but it was so welcoming! Also, the rooms were very clean with fresh sheets and cute fireplaces. Scott is also a caterer so his breakfast was incredible. The granola and warm milk was amazing!

Had a great time at Chadwicks. The rooms are beautful and clean and the service is friendly. The location is excellent, only a mile from the bars and restaurants. The breakfast they make in the morning is delicious, every bit as good as you would get in downtown portland. Would definitely come back!!

My husband and I enjoyed the hospitality at the inn. Scott and Adam have thought about anything you could possibly need during your stay. The room was cozy and comfortable with a private bath. The breakfast Scott made us was amazing and his homemade cookies were a great snack in the afternoon. We were able to purchase a bottle of...

The owners were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We were given a nice tour of the property and directions/advise of where to eat/shop. The breakfasts were also excellent. I would definitely return.

My husband and I stayed 6 nights at The Chadwick. The stay was seamless, with an easy late night check-in and gracious hosts and accommodations. The location was great as were the gourmet breakfasts. I would recommend this property to anyone. Susan H.

This was our first stay at a B&B and our first time in Portland. The Chadwick made for a wonderful experience. The innkeepers were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing and different every day. The room was very nice. It is not in the downtown/touristy part of Portland, so you either need to take a $6 cab ride...

We recently stayed at The Chadwick for four nights. Owner Scot & Innkeeper Adam made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. They had personality plus & happily answered our questions about the area. You couldn't ask for a better location for walking to many of the historic areas. Spotless rooms, comfortable beds & private bath. Breakfast was creative &...

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing vacation in Portland and we could not have picked a better place to stay. Scot and Adam combined to make this a most memorable stay, from the super comfortable bed, the great breakfasts, restaurant recommendations, down to the double hammock in the back. The Chadwick is a short walk to downtown...
