Tent camped on the east shore sites. Nice shady sites, level enough, and the wilderness style was made easy by being able to drive the sites. The drinking water and general store is 15 minutes away buy car. They have coin op’ showers and flush toilets are there too. The sound of loons was awesome at night. They also have some access by boat sites too. Tips: don’t forget to take water from the main building to the site, some TP, and a grate to cook over the fire. Beautiful uncluttered views of the lake and mountains.

Sites were basically on top of one another, when we arrived the site that we already paid for was rented to someone else had to move to another site. The water and power hookup were backwards so we were forced to but more hose and extention cords from the general store at no discount that totaled almost $40.00 There beach that was described to us was no beach at all. Was nothing more than a shore line. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice but. The campground was not taken care of the "beach" was littered with items that have been there for years, the bathrooms where hosed down like a prison bathroom. Toilet seats never wiped down. The constant dog barking and late night yells was not very pleasant There was a section on stairs that we went up while walking the beach was so unsafe I'm surprised no one has been hurt or even killed on. No signs posted to keep of. The whole stair case is separating and falling off the cliff. Did not notice until we almost reached the top of stairs. Would never take my kids here in fear of them getting hurt. The cabin at the end of the trail looks like something from a horror movie and very very unsafe yet again no signs posted We will NOT return.

stayed here over the labor day weekend, and all i can say is wow. we rented a sight on the east shore, had no troubles getting down the dirt roads with a fully loaded mid 90's station wagon. the campsites where clean, and easy access to the lake via a private path. The site easly fit two large tents, and the owners were very nice with helping on directions to local dinners etc. The sites where a little close but the people where friendly and there was enough distance that there really much of an issue. If you are looking for a great get away on a lake, this is it. great trip, great places, great people.

After booking and asking specific questions about the campground to ensure we would enjoy our stay ...I would say the owner lied and was very misleading during our conversation!! I specifically asked about how private the sites were on the east shore and she said " very private"!! Wrong! No privacy what soever! The campsites are right on top of each other. We asked if we could fit 2 tents!!! No way!! No shore!! Outhouses were FULL!! The people next to us were out of control!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Will never ever go back!!!
