The Trellis House was a great experience. Like many B&Bs these folks have a neat Inn. But they take about 4 extra steps to make your visit really neat. They are great hosts for their community and share all kinds of info with you to help you make your trip enjoyable. Great breakfasts, nifty cocktail hour, really handy Honor Bar, and enough quiet yard seating to get your quiet time. But- probably 50 quality restaurants within walking distance, and then of course the Marginal Way is right behind the Inn. So basically- if you want to experience Ohunquit you won’t be disappointed by the Trellis. Just a cool place.

Everything was picture perfect and every detail was well thought out. From the moment you arrive you feel special they greet you with a glass of bubbly and insist that you take a seat in their beautiful garden as they checked us in. It was my husband’s bday, a bday card was waiting for him in the room (I didn’t request this, what a nice surprise) Beach towels were supplied in a beautiful beach bag as well as beach chairs. Did I mention the breakfast, 2 course gourmet delicious (if I could just take the chef home, we’ll actually all the staff). My husband has food allergies and is hypoglycemic each morning the chef prepared him a special breakfast. This will be a place we will be returning to.

Home away from home-except you don’t have to do any of the work, like cooking gourmet breakfasts, or mixing your own cocktails at Happy Hour. Seriously, Laurence, Glen, & their amazing staff make it their goal to provide an exceptional stay.

The Trellis House hosted our family of 14 for an unforgettable weekend. The reason for our gathering was to celebrate my marriage ceremony on the Marginal Way, and Laurence, Glen, Djata, Melissa, and the whole team made our weekend a dream. Everyone's rooms were expertly appointed, the breakfasts were gourmet and suited to each taste and dietary restriction, happy hours were light and fun, and the hosts became like family. They hosted a private BBQ for us complete with a decorated garden table, bar, and a feast like no other! I am so grateful we found the Trellis House, and it is a truly special spot and we have nothing but happy memories of every interaction, sip, bite, and detail. Thank you, and until next time!

Our stay at the Trellis House redefined what I thought was possible in hospitality. We were warmly welcomed, treated like family and fed incredible food by kind and loving souls. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a laid-back atmosphere where they will be pampered and also feel right at home. Laurence, Glen and Djata, as well as the rest of the staff, were attentive and wonderful. And did I mention the food? I would go back just for that ☺️💗💯

This year was the 28th year I have stayed at Trellis House and this B&B gets even better every year. The owners, Laurence and Glen, and the entire staff are superbly attentive, responsive, accommodating, personable and professional. I have already booked my reservation for next year. The rooms are beautifully furnished, very comfortable, very well outfitted, and spacious. The homemade breakfasts are different each morning and usually to die for. The location could not be better—an easy walk to the center of town, the same for Perkins Cove, and Marginal Way is right around the corner. I look forward to spending many more years at Trellis House as I don’t think any other establishment in Ogunquit can top them. Oh, I almost forgot, their incredibly cute and cuddly dog, Bentley, a golden doodle, is the icing on the cake.

Friendly, caring hosts and staff, amazing breakfasts (they were very accommodating with my gluten free diet) and beautiful grounds. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, to town or on the Marginal Way. The Trellis House is definitely a place we will return to again and again.

It was our daughter's wedding weekend so we wanted everything to be perfect. It was! It exceeded our highest expectations, and that of our 14 guests (all ages). Rooms perfect. Food perfect. Drinks perfect. Staff beyond perfect. The hosts worked with us to ensure that everyone in our party felt welcomed and comfortable. They hosted a Friday night barbecue, and a wedding day cocktail party, which were both exceptional. Gourmet breakfast every day in a casual atmosphere, Our hosts were charming and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The ambiance was above and beyond. Can't wait to return.
