We love the Gazebo Inn! Barn Suite 5 is amazing - especially the shower! Scott and staff are so very welcoming and accommodating and there are special touches throughout such as warm cookies delivered poolside! Also, the towels and sheets are extremely soft and luxurious! It is hands down the best place to stay in OGT! We can’t wait to go back!
My fiancé and I just had our second visit to Ogunquit, ME, again staying at the Gazebo Inn. We loved it so much that we had to return! Scott & Peter were our wonderful hosts during our stay, and upon our check-in, Scott gave us a mini tour of the facilities and of our room. He made sure of our comfort throughout our stay which made our experience even better. Each morning, we were happily greeted with a delicious breakfast that was made-to-order by our hosts themselves. Every day featured a different breakfast, but all were with scones so good that we had to take a dozen home! The hot tub and pool were the perfect spots for us to find space to relax, and some days we were even brought freshly made cookies (which were phenomenal, by the way). My fiancé and I had many plans during our stay, so while we were not in our room sometime between 11 AM and 2 PM (between checkout and check-in times, respectively), our room was cleaned and bed was made by their awesome housekeeper. We can’t wait to come back next year! -The Coles…
We have been coming to the gazebo inn for years and it never gets old. Scott and staff are wonderful and always makes it a point to make sure our stay is to our satisfaction at all times. Tammy and David jacobson
This was our second stay at the Gazebo. 3 nights in Barn Room 5. Comfortable, quiet, spacious room. We returned to the inn from our daily adventures to find fresh scones, cookies, fruit, and a pitcher of a signature drink. We utilized the car service each night and took advantage of the restaurant packages provided by the Inn at Clay Hill Farms, and the Old Village Inn which adds to the ultimate relaxation you will experience at the Gazebo. The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful, catering to your ever need. Breakfast is outstanding. A very peaceful, friendly place to stay. we'll be back.
In reading the other reviews, it didn't seem possible that so many people could be so enthusiastic and complimentary about their stay, but I'm here to say that all the rave reviews are true and I'm happy to add another five-star review to the many five-star reviews. We were looking for a magical place to get married. I had always imagined a wedding in a gazebo and was looking for a venue for an elopement. We discovered the perfect place in the Gazebo Inn --complete with gazebo and beautiful grounds. But even better than the gazebo was the chance to be married at the Marginal Way. Scott and his team made the elopement the special day that we hoped for. Peter did an excellent and professional job with the photographs. Meeting the officiant, Bruce, was awesome. He was warm and welcoming and an instant friend. The ceremony was beautiful and meaningful, with the most perfect backdrop of the Marginal Way and the ocean. We enjoyed the complimentary champagne toast and cake cutting, and then were whisked off to an incredible dinner at Clay Hill Farm. The Gazebo Inn made our elopement a special and treasured event. They saw to every detail and were kind and welcoming every step of the way. Our sincere thanks, Scott, Peter, Bruce and Missy for making our wedding so wonderful. We stayed another two days, and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities already mentioned in other reviews. The amazing breakfasts -- each one better than the last. Steak & eggs? Yes, please. Another apple scone? Don't mind if I do. Missy just made some home baked cookies... Would you like some? Okay .. Can I have two? As many as you want. Yup, I'd go back there in a heartbeat. The barn suite was a comfy and had a small kitchen, jacuzzi, and rain shower. One day was rainy, and it was a comfortable and relaxing stay to hang out at the Inn. You are close to restaurants, but it is a bit of a walk to the downtown area. That will be for another stay. And we will be going back. Gazebo Inn is the perfect choice for a week's stay, a special weekend, as in our case a beautiful and romantic elopement.…
My wife and I are expecting our first child, and wanted to get away one last time before our world turns upside down (in a good way of course!). We found the Gazebo Inn and figured we would give it a shot. Words truly can not describe how impressed we both were. The Gazebo Inn was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Scott (the owner) was extremely gracious and accommodating. When we first arrived Scott met us in the main lobby and checked us in, and gave us a personal tour of the entire facility. Offered us home made drinks and fresh home made cookies and scones (literally fresh made, still warm, thanks Missy!) Scott gave us recommendations on where to go out to eat and was eager to help us in any way necessary. In the mornings, the breakfast was absolutely phenomenal, there were a variety of freshly made to order options accommodating to any dietary needs. Peter, the man behind the apron was extremely outgoing and loved talking food. He was also very accommodating making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. The facility itself was extremely clean and spacious. The back yard was a private Oasis hidden away from the hustle and bustle of a busy Rt. 1. The salt water pool and salt water hot tub were an awesome touch. I could go on and on about how impressed I am with everything, but I will end with this. Not to sound cliche, but this is truly a place where you enter as strangers but leave as family. Scott and crew took the time to remember our names and make sure we were having a great time. We will absolutely be returning to the Gazebo inn without hesitation . And we can not wait to do so. Jeremy & Jennifer…
We've stayed at the Gazebo Inn several times and will not stay anywhere else in Ogunquit! The property is beautiful - the pool, jacuzzi and landscaped grounds are impeccably maintained. Scott and his staff (hey Peter and Missy!) do not miss a detail. The rooms are clean and welcoming, there are many common areas to just relax and enjoy your adults-only vacation. The cooked to order breakfast each morning is absolutely delicious with lots of offerings every day. Going to the beach? Scott's got you covered with beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers for you to use. Every afternoon there are freshly baked treats, along with an alcoholic beverage and non-alcoholic beverage selection at the bar. All of this within walking distance to downtown Ogunquit and Footbridge beach. We just got back, and can't wait to return in August!…
From the moment we checked in, the experience at the Gazebo was outstanding! Every small detail was considered, including lindy chocolates on the bed, free drinks snacks and cookies in the lobby, and an awesome breakfast each morning! We even took advantage of the cooler and chairs provided to enjoy some time on the nearby beach! Highly recommend.
Our stay was amazing from the minute we pulled into the parking lot. Scott greeted us at our car and then personally showed us the entire property and all the amenities before taking us to our room. He was truly the best host! Peter's daily breakfast choices were all delicious. From cinnamon swirl French toast to steak and eggs, we were spoiled with wonderful food every day. This was our first time at the Gazebo Inn but definitely will not be our last!
The most charming, warm experience. Enjoyed the beautiful property and the glorious hot tub all weekend! The entire staff was so welcoming- we even extended an extra day! Homemade breakfast every morning was such a nice added bonus.
