We stayed here for a girls weekend. 6 ladies in 1 room. The room was comfortable, a little dated but very clean. Our view was amazing. We could walk to everything so easily. Staff were fabulous. Already planning a trip back.

We just visited the Aspiniquid for the second time and cannot wait for the third. We had a non-housekeeping problem with our room which we discussed with Scott and Dre who were at the front desk. As retired innkeepers with 30+ years of experience we knew how important it is to tell the management about an issue immediately. They corrected the problem right away and were very courteous about it. They then proceeded to make our next night's stay very special and made us feel like long-lost friends when we, sadly, turned in our keys. Don't hesitate to spend a bit more on a room at the Aspiniquid. It is within easy walking of Ogunquit Beach which is lovely. Parking at the beach when we visited cost $20.00 a day so the hotel's location provided us with a significant savings in fees. It also is an easy walk to Ogunquit's shopping and dining area which also will save on parking fees and the hassle of finding a parking place. If you are traveling in the off season keep in mind that some of the summer season only restaurants will be closed. Making reservations for dinner is a good idea. If you are at the beach when the tide is going out be sure to ride the natural equivalent of a water park's Lazy River feature as the water flows from the estuary back to the sea.

I visit Ogunquit quite often. This was my first time at this hotel. I decided to stay because I could bring my dog. The room is extremely basic. Two full beds. A hard chair in the corner. A very large tv which was nice. The bathroom was nicely appointed but the toilet was impossible to flush without lifting the cover and pulling the chain by hand. The towels were small and definitely have seen better days. The noise from the room above was disturbing. You could hear the couple walk everywhere and in the middle of the night it was a very unwelcomed sound.the mattress was probably from the 90’s - I could feel most of the coils. The furniture in the room was very dated and worn. The lamps were again from the 90’s. The overall decor was lacking. I would consider this much more a motel and much less a resort I spoke with the hotel staff was when I made the reservation and when they called to tell me to go to their sister resort to check in. I had asked about an extra night and the front desk clerk was extremely curt and not pleasant. The taller clerk behind the counter seemed to be more engaging as I walked out probably realizing his coworker was a bit grumpy. The only redeeming fact is - it’s in a great location.

Location is very near to the river, the beach, downtown Ogunquit. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. We had a ground floor on the back of the property. We had chairs to sit on the porch, but would have appreciated a balcony like most rooms had....still it's not a complaint, just a preference. We will be back. Staff was friendly, there is a lovely pool.

The location is great, the garden areas are beautiful and that’s about it. The room was shabby…at least our room was. There was 1 chair and it looked like it came from a dump. The room was clean, but I still would not walk around without shoes on. The outside deck is one, long shared deck in the unit we stayed in. I saw other units that were private. We did use the laundry facility on location and that was a plus!
