I stayed here with 3 girlfriends after a grueling race. It's not on the water but within 10 minutes walking distance. It was clean and a bit outdated but spacious and comfortable. My friends love it enough to visit yearly. We spent a lot of time in the big comfy chairs on the huge porch upstairs.

Amy, Thanks for your feedback. Since acquiring the Seafarer Nancy, Donna and I have been updating the rooms and grounds. Right now 8 rooms are under renovation, getting ready for next season. We hope to see you again. Regards, Peter

We were seeing a show at Jonathan's and needed a place for the night and the Seafarer was just the right place for us. It is very old-school, but very clean and comfy. Our room was like stepping into a time machine and that we were taken back about 50 years. We loved it. Paper band on the toilet. 1970's...

Frank, thanks for your review. We've been hard at work remodeling since we bought the Seafarer. Right now 8 rooms are being fully renovated. We do 2-4 each winter. These rooms are getting hardwood floors, flat screen TV's and more. But those touch tone phones stay! HA HA! And those signs, my sister-in-law co-owner who does a fabulous job with...

My husband and I booked this hotel for one night and we were very happy. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to downtown and Perkins Cove. Jonathans Restaurant right around the corner. Yummy! !

Room was really big, had double and queen beds. Both beds really comfortable they do need to update the pillows which were very thin. Extremely clean, wifi worked great and had a medium size fridge/freezer. Indoor salt water pool was nice and warm on the Friday but then cold on Saturday so not sure why that happened. 10-15 minute walk...

Thanks Karen. Agree on the pillows, as I stayed over last week. We'll get to these over the winter. See you next season!

We stayed for two nights in August. The price was very high, as high as a five star hotel but it was very old and run down. There were stains on the carpet and writing on the sheets. The coffee maker was in the bathroom! I won't stay there again.

Joanne, We have been renovating the Seafarer since we acquired it in 2004. The Seafarer Condominium Resort is made up of individually owned Condominiums. Some owners elect to include their condo's in the rental group. There are still a few owners that have not updated their units. We rent these units last, only when we are fully booked. Each year...

Can't imagine how the terms condominium or resort could be associated with htis place. They may have cornered the market on 40 watt bulbs! Not certain how clean the room was since it was too dark to see.

Hi Mary, I can see you are very upset and since I remember you I find it funny that not once did you come to the front desk for the 2 nights you stayed here to say you where unhappy with your accommodations. We all try very hard each day to make each guest happy. I am sad to see...

As many reviewers have already noted, this motel is in a perfect location within about a half mile of all of Ogunquit's best-- beach, Perkins Cove, playhouse. The staff is very helpful and the recreational amenities are good. Having said that, please be aware that this is basically a budget motel with super large rooms in a great area. We...

Each year, since acquiring the Seafarer, we completely renovate 2-4 units. This year we completed 4 units, as well as re-landscaping, a new fire pit and other enhancements. Thank you for your review and we hope to see you next year. Peter
