Room and view is very nice. I recommend the 2nd floor corner room with panoramic view. Very clean and spacious room with microwave and apartment size refrigerator. Centrally located, pools, hot tub, and very reasonable rates. Will definitely return.
I stayed at the Mariner Resort in Wells, Maine. I Highly recommend this motel. The location was really good, central to many activities and points of interest. The room and all areas of the resort are immaculately clean! Every thing was fresh and clean! the staff were fantastic-ALL of them , So helpful and so hard working. The price was very reasonable. There are 2 pools (inside & out) and a hot tub- all so clean and well maintained. Beautiful flower beds surround the entire complex. The room I had had two queen beds, two big comfy chairs and a small table, a frig ,microwave, iron & blow drier. Beds & pillows were very comfy, Linens & towels very fresh and clean. Its obvious that everything in the room gets washed between guests, as it should be! Tea & coffee are served in the courtyard every morning. The water pressure in the shower was great and we had plenty of very hot water! My only complaints, I wish the pool & hot tub were open later, They closed up at 9:00pm and I could hear the people above us (not terrible but could hear them walking and thumping around). This Resort has quiet hours which really makes it nice & quiet. I don't think Ive EVER had such a good experience at a motel or hotel! We had family in two other rooms and they had equally good experiences! We will return to the Mariner Resort!…
This is one of the better places we have stayed . Been coming to ogunquit for over 15 years except last year stupid covid!! But the room was decent size , the ac worked great the tub was VERY DEEP! Amazing . The indoor pool and out door hot tub was great! The only things we didn’t like is the beds could use some new mattresses , no breakfast they said due to covid but other hotels are doing it so idk. You have to ask for a coffee pot and they don’t provide any coffee. There were a bunch of kids screaming and running around the pool area bouncing from pool to pool to hot tub even though is says no kids in hot tub with or without an adult. The parents were just sitting there letting them do whatever and I don’t think all their parents were even out there watching them !! That went on every night until the closed the pool. So that wasn’t really enjoyable. Only 1 ice machine for the whole place and someone locked the door so we couldn’t get ice and the front desk is closed with no one to call!! I’m not to sure if I’d be back maybe. Staff VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY. And lastly no housekeeping due to covid so your doing your own trash and putting out towels to get new ones each day for what you pay to stay there you should not have to clean your own room! And you can say it’s because of covid but not all places are doing that either!!…
Great recently renovated hotel with an indoor and outdoor pool. We stayed here for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed their stay. You can walk to the beach and town ( a long walk) or take the trolley ( now $5). There is a big grassy area in the back of the hotel with a volleyball net and lawn games. Great hotel for all ages!
Very nicely updated, family room was large with a private balcony. Kitchenenette was stocked with plates, bowls, mugs and silverware. Also had a toaster, microwave, fridge and large coffee maker. Beds were comfortable but a little squeaky. Shower pressure was great, but shower head was low (5'4") and I had to duck slightly. Indoor pool was clean and staff were sanitizing chairs between each family. Due to Covid no cleaning but towels, soap etc were delivered promptly upon request. Would definitely stay again, I'd give 4.5 stars overall.
We love this hotel and would return! Here are some takeaways from our stay: 1. We were able to check in a little early. 2. We had room 206, a first floor room. It was perfect because we parked right near the two pools and we could sit on the porch with the chairs and see our kids swimming right from the porch when we wanted to dry up. (They have had swim lessons and were in full site at all times.) 3. The indoor pool was very warm but the outside had a bit of a chill! Kids won't mind. 4. The room had a beautiful deep tub and nice shower pressure. The room also had a table and chairs for two, a microwave, and a big fridge. The room was clean and there is no in-room service due to COVID-19, although you can leave out linens and trash. The floor was a bit dirty under our feet (just my one observation on what could be improved). 5. The hotel has quiet hours 9:00p.m.-8:00a.m. There is a sign posted, which we appreciated, and I feel it makes families make the effort! 6. No breakfast due to COVID-19 7. Beautiful views of the river and the grounds had pretty flowers. 8. Short drive to the Footbridge Beach. The beach parking attendant who collects payment leaves at 4:00p.m. but cars are still welcome to come and go. It is $25.00 to park. 9. Staff was welcoming and friendly. We could also hear staff making their rounds and engaging guests in small talk. 10. Lots of umbrellas and sun loungers at the outdoor pool. There is also a hot tub. The hotel made a nice first impression on us. Thank you for a pleasant stay.…
Last night we stayed at the mariner resort. My wife is handicap and had difficulty getting on the toilet. Management quickly helped us out. While we were to dinner they added a handicap rail near the toilet. Worked great. The room was recently redone and was very nice. We found the place clean and sanitized for covid. Thankyou very much we will be back. Luke and Tena
On drive up to Acadia stopped in Ogunquit which is a small but charming beach town. Motel was clean, beds were very comfortable and big plus was the full size refrigerator with freezer as we had a cooler full of frozen food. Pool was clean and nice view of marsh inlets where you can see many people kayaking/paddle boarding and off in the distance people kite boarding can be seen. Easy 5minute bike ride to Footbridge beach and a 20min bike ride to Ogunquit beach. My 9 and 11 yr olds were able to bike it with no problem. Parking in the town is difficult or plan to pay for the lots which ranges from $20-30. Town of Ogunquit 5min drive.
The staff here was excellent and left a great first impression. The room was clean and updated, and the pool / hot tub were nice. The continental breakfast - almost always the same at hotels - had different and better selection and REALLY good food - fresh fruits (watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe) and coffee cake. Staff was helpful pointing out several good places to visit. Highly recommend.
Our room was a "suite". It was very comfortable for the 4 of us who stayed there. Clean and had a porch where you could sit and watch the ocean. The hotel staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The location to town and the Ogunquit Playhouse is excellent. They also host a rather good breakfast, if you are looking for something lite--also kid and big kid friendly!! We have stayed at the resort several times and will continue to do so in the future!!
