I recently returned to The Tipsy Butler for a one night get-away, and my second visit was every bit as wonderful as the first, two years ago. Sarah welcomed me at the front door like an old friend. It was wonderful to then be reintroduced to the warm comfort of the livingroom with its shelves of books, DVDs and games,...

Sarah, the owner is delightful and extremely dedicated to her passion...making her guests feel at home. She gave us a five minute tour of the place and emphasized that she wanted us to feel at home. The king size bed was great and I sleep like a baby after a long day of touring the area. We had a chocolate...

My wife and I spent a wonderful four nights at the Tipsy Butler in late July. You would be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay. Sarah, who owns the B&B with her husband Tony, was incredibly accommodating right from the start. When we booked our stay, we told her about some dietary restrictions we had and the need...

My family and I did not have the experience of staying at a B&B until now. My husband and 10 yr old son were a little leary...until we got to the Tipsy. We experienced a warm greeting from Sarah the minute we got out of our car, and great hospitality throughtout our stay. I had done allot of researching before...

I cannot express enough the great time we had at this incredible B&B. Sarah, the owner, has made our first B&B experience quite enjoyable. There was not one detail left behind - from the cleanliness of the room to the amazing breakfast served - everything was fantastic! Thank you Sarah. We will definately come back to the Tipsy Butler Bed...

Our second visit to Sarah, Tony and the Tipsy Butler was as big a joy as our first. The inn is in a great location within easy walking distance of Damariscotta and it's various eateries...not that you need much as Sarah's breakfasts are both tasty and ample, and well and truly set you up for the day. Just enough room...

My husband and I, and teenage son were looking for a place to stay which provided a central location for travel between Freeport and Round Pond, Maine. This was the place!! The location was perfect. We chose the Groundskeeper room which provided an extra bed in addition to the Queen bed in the room. We were on the third floor...

My husband and I traveled to Maine to visit two of his great Aunts. Upon pulling into the driveway, we were greeted by an exuburant Sarah and realized this was going to be a fun time! The Inn is spectacular! I was thrilled to walk through the double front door and could not wait to get "a look see". Sarah...

As you pull up the Dead-End Street you will see the Tipsy Butler stand out on the right hand side of the street. As you pull into the driveway, you will be sure to see Sarah come out and welcome you to her home. We stayed in the Groundskeeper room, which is the sole room on the third floor of...

To meet Sarah, is to love her... and... the quaint and comfortable spot she's created with The Tipsy Butler Inn! Wonderful woman, and a most pleasant and comfortable place to spend your time getting away from it all. To be fair, I have to begin by saying that as far as B&Bs go, I was what you'd call a complete...

“Choose the Maid's Room if you have one other person travelling with you because there is a small but charming twin bed single room attached to the Maid's Room with a Jack and Jill bathroom. My husband and I put our teen aged son in there. It was glorious.”

“The Cook's room is the smallest but cozy, while the Maid's Room looked gorgeous. Sarah recommended the Butler's Room for our next stay, also spacious (like the Maid's) and beautiful.”
