We stayed four nights in the Topside room. First the positives. The setting is spectacular. The cove the Inn sits in is incredibly picturesque. I loved sitting on our deck and watching the gulls and cormorants swoop and the boats come and go. Actually that is the only thing positive I can think to say about this place. The owners...

My wife and I just returned from a one night stay at the Gosnold Arms. We stayed at the wharf topside a room right on the water in New Harbor. The room had new carpets, bathroom and kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. The price was$215 with tax $268 which for being on the water in Maine in the summer...

Stayed in one of the cabins at the back of the property. The room seemed as if no one had been in there for quite a while, it was musty humid and smelly in there. There spiders, Mosquitos and various other insects all over the cabin. I got 4 spider bites from being there one night. The sheets were fresh...

My sister booked our stay at the Gosnold mainly because we only needed one night, and this was the first place she could find (after many calls) that accepted reservations for just one night. We had no idea it was directly across from the Hardy Boat puffin trip dock and a fantastic restaurant right there. The inn itself, the cabin,...

Been staying there for years and love the place. My wife and I try to get the Creel cottage if possible because of the close proximity to the parking lot. Chris and the staff have always been awsome. We travel with a large motorcycle on a trailer attached to a truck and Chris always makes sure we have a close...

We booked a room, but had to change the reservation several times due to weather -- staff was very understanding and accommodating. My husband and I sailed into New Harbor aboard our 21' daysailer, after dark, and the innkeeper used his flashlight to guide us in. Thankfully there was a well marked dock to sail right up to! We stayed...

We've stayed at the Gosnold Inn several times over the years. In response to other reviewers: Yes, the place is rustic; yes, the breakfast lacks variety; but it's quiet and clean, and you can hear a cacophony of birds beginning at five in the morning, and the views are magnificent. You can watch -- and hear! -- the fishermen going...

We booked a small cabin here just a few days before, so there wasn't much inventory left. Rachel helped us with our reservation over the phone and was very nice. We were coming to New Harbor for the Hardy Boat Puffin cruise and wanted a nearby place to stay. This is directly across the road from the Harbor so it...

My husband and I have just returned from our 4th annual stay at the Gosnold Arms Inn on BEAUTIFUL New Harbor, Maine. This is honestly one of my favorite vacation destinations anywhere. We especially love the Gosnold because of its unique location on Rt. 32 looking out at Muscongus Bay, its islands, and the sea beyond. We always stay at...

My husband and I recently spent a night at this inn. We chose it because it was right across the street from the Hardy Boat cruises dock. (We were booked on a Maine-Audubon sponsored puffin cruise that evening.) We arrived in mid-afternoon and were quickly checked in and then shown around the property before being taken to our room, room...
