Thanks for taking the time to write such a fair and thorough review.
The $1 shower issue comes up frequently in reviews, so it helps to address the question from time to time. On any given night we have up to 500 guests. We have...More
We stayed in the plot E24 with a platform for our tent and really, really loved the campground. There were two other sites on either side of us but the way the sites were laid out we barely heard anything from them. The gathering was...More
Nice campground with some sites on the water and others amidst the trees. We stayed for 8 nights and had a fabulous time. Bathrooms are clean and it costs $1 to shower for 5 minutes. The gathering place has WiFi and goodies in the morning...More

Depending on when you go you should probably plan for at least one day of heavy rain and wind. Picnic tables are really decently sized and we've had luck putting a screen house over it and then a tarp over that for rain. It's not terribly buggy but good to have options. There's still some waterfront sites available. You're going to love this campground!
