The cottages are clean and have almost anything you would need for your stay. They are nicely decorated also. Just a short 5 minute drive to downtown shopping and restaurants in Camden. The manager/owner was VERY unfriendly, and for that I make the rating average. The staff and their attitudes can make or break an experience and this one broke...

I believe your experience was not common for guests on our property and I apologize if we did not "click" when you arrived but it's unfair to say that others on our property did not have a good experience. I believe had you made the reservations and set up the group, I may have had information needed to assist your...

This location is perfect; away from the busier tourist areas in and around Bar Harbor, etc. But close enough to Acadia Park (if that is your desire). Great restaurants surround the location and the breakfast provided in the Bistro are amazing. In fact all the amenities provided were first class! We fully occupied cabin #4 so that is the reason...

Adorable cottages - motel is comfortable, basic and to the point. No frills needed because there is so much so see and do in MidCoast Maine! Included continental breakfast is fresh and full of many choices. If you're looking for an affordable, no-frills, dog-friendly motel/cottage with a nice quick continental breakfast, then this is the place for you!

We stayed in motel room #19 over Labor Day weekend. The resort is very cute and decorated nicely! We arrived after 7pm, but a late check-in was no problem just by calling ahead. The rooms and bathroom are small but doable. We had 4 adults in one room, which was a little bit of a squeeze but we were only...

We were lucky enough to get a room at this wonderfully clean location with no reservations. It's no wonder they were one of the only fully booked locations in the area. CLEAN, dog friendly and with wonderful amenities. When we decided to stay a second night Jane found us another room and though the move from one room to another...

Stayed here two nights while on a girls trip thru Maine. Cottages and motel rooms are available. Because the cabins were all occupied we stayed in the motel. The room was well equipped with upgraded toiletries refrig. And microwave. The room was a nice size with a twin bed and a double. There was also a sofa bed. A wonderful...

There are a lot of good things about these lodgings: The grounds are lovely, the rooms are clean and charming, breakfast is exceptional, and the staff, especially Emily, are hard working as they provide for us guests. The manager, Jane, spent a lot of time with me during the planning phase as we figured out how to best accommodate our...

This was our second time here. Last year was better. Service was better I think. Same manager but her attitude was a little off. Good overall location, basically just a clean, safe place to stay. Our rate however was a hundred dollars more than the quoted price we were given at booking, but after questioning it and being given a rather...

Please let us know how there was a misunderstanding in room rates - call us. Our rates are posted online on our website and do not change once we set the rates for the year - there are seasonal rates and varying rates for each cottage on the property. At the time of making reservations we write down exactly what...

Let me start by saying I never ever ever take the time to give reviews. I'm a little bit ashamed to admit it, but it's true. But having stayed at the Bay Leaf Cottages, I feel compelled. This place is a real gem. It's very low key so if you are looking for fancy amenities, this ain't the place. It's...
