The owners of this b&b have done a phenomenal job in creating a homely atmosphere. Despite there being plenty of bits and bobs around, it's absolutely spotless. There is a lovely lounge area to relax in with plenty of books and games that you're able to enjoy. The rooms are bit enough for a comfy bed and have a great... More

This was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed at. We were lucky to find it when we were planning a trip to Acadia with friends and found that everything was booked on Mt. Desert Island. We were so glad we stayed there as it was a beautiful place that has been lovingly restored by Eric... More

Chocolate chip cookies in the room on arrival and amazing breakfasts are just two reasons you should stay here. Beyond that the list is endless, Eric is full of information and recommendations on places to see, walks to take and where to eat. Sue's cooking is gorgeous and the house is beautifully kept. Close enough to Acadia to enjoy the... More

Bottom Line: Highly recommend Close enough to Acadia National Park but well away from the traffic and crowds. Located on a quiet street with a town and state park beaches nearby. The Innkeepers, Sue and Eric, obviously enjoy what they do. They know how to make guests feel welcome and they know the area well. And how many places have... More

We stayed Thurs-Sat and this B&B is great in every way. Eric & Sue are excellent hosts and the pride in their home shows all around from the immaculate inside & outside to the great breakfast every morning. It is a 25-30 minute drive to Bar Harbor which to us was no issue and we liked being on the outskirts... More

Our hosts, Eric and Sue, were very welcoming and hospitable. Eric was very helpful in providing some really great advice for getting the most of our short stay in the Acadia region. The house is lovely and comfortable. We rented two rooms -- one for me and my wife and one for our daughter and her grandmother -- both were... More

This is a lovely B&B in a rural setting about 7-8 miles out of downtown Ellsworth, Maine. Is is very clear that there is pride of ownership in the way that the property has been developed. The Innkeepers are very personable and knowledgeable of the area. This is a great staging location if you want to take advantage of Acadia... More

I booked this B&B for Fourth of July when it was the only B&B I could find that would let you stay 1 night. I'm so thrilled I found it. The hosts were as hospitable as any hosts I've ever met at a B&B, breakfast was delicious, and the house itself was non-pretentious, comfortable, and had lots of country charm... More
