A few month's ago, my wife and I were planning for a two week road trip that was to originate in Newfoundland and Labrador. We knew that we wanted to include Maine in the plans and decided to travel inland since we are already so familiar with the Atlantic coast. Our intent was to do some hiking on the Appalachian...

I cannot express how grateful I am that you took time to write such a supportive review. Knowing how much you and your wife enjoyed the farm and farm-life means a great deal to me. Further, thanks very much for acknowledging the favorite parts of your stay as that information is so helpful to other travelers planning a visit to...

It sounded so nice, but I would never stay here again. The house desperately needed to be painted, but the front garden looked nice and there was a very friendly dog in the driveway, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Within one step in the door, the smell was very noticeable. Some sort of mothball/mildew smell, maybe the pets,...

Oh dear! Sandy seemed so content while here that her poor review has surprised me. First of all the house IS being painted, which is why the painters have scraped all the old paint off the clapboards and trim. I had asked the house painters to delay working on the front of the house early in the morning because of...

My family and I spent our summers in this beautiful pristine area of Maine on a little pond close to what is now the Mountain Village Farm B&B. We recently visited the area and stayed here and it couldn't have been a more comfortable and inviting and appropriate place to rekindle those days for us. Lisa, the owner/host has done...

Thanks so much for taking time to write such a supportive description of your stay here. I enjoyed hearing about your travels and particularly your years spent in Cyprus. You must be on Cape Cod by now where I hope the weather brings lots of sunshine.

My family tends to rank B&B's based on the breakfast served. Under the able direction of InnKeeper Lisa, the food at MVF was superb - fresh organic eggs from the henhouse outside, great organic multigrain bread, and a melted ham and cheese sandwich that was so good I had it two days running. No sugary delights as other B&B's seem...

We spent a week night here on 2/19/14. We had a lovely room and bathroom with soft white bath towels and crisp white sheets and warm quilts. We didn't get a chance to use the front sitting room but it was all ready to go with a fire ready to be lit in the fireplace. Breakfast was so delicious. Lisa...

We spent one night at this B&B. Our bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and Lisa was a great host. Her blueberry cornmeal pancakes were to die for. She had several nice choices for breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and loved the old farm which is right next to the town.

We booked a room for a weekend as Lisa accepted our 2 Shelties. Upon arrival Lisa and her two dogs greeted us. Her dogs are very friendly and not aggressive at all. Lisa explained the breakfast form and showed us to the room. I asked if there was anyplace that would deliver a pizza? She said there was a place...

Lisa was a great host. We showed up an hour early, but it wasn't a problem. The farm was beautiful. We got to walk around the path and see the beautiful mountain surroundings. Our bedroom was very comfortable. It had a great old time feel to it and had jacuzzi tub. We had dinner just down the street and enjoyed...

Even though there was no storm, we were feeling travel weary and were desperately in need of a place to stop. After trying several 'campgrounds?' without any luck we happened to stop by the local grocery in Kingfield to ask about local accommodations. A very helpful lady recommended Mountain Village Farm B&B and boy were we glad she did. From...

Planning a trip through New England, we found this B & B on the internet. When we pulled into the drive, we were met by Skeeter, the owner's little terrier. He was barking at us, but it was one of those barks that was more of a greeting than a warning, and we quickly became best of friends. His partner,...
