My partner and I were in town for the Sugarloaf Marathon. We spent three nights, with friends, at Mountain Village Farm. I was between a 4 and a 5; however, rated a 5 on the strength of what I will call a genuine experience. I didn't feel as though I was someone to be served where the host was going...

We stayed 3 nights at the Mountain Village Farm B&B and had a wonderful time! Lisa was a very flexible hostess and was able to meet us for an early check-in. Breakfast every day was delicious, with farm-fresh eggs from her own chickens. The room was very comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub. Excellent place to stay in...

Thank you, Branden and Simona, for your supportive comments. I hope to see you again during the summer. Come up for one of my Blues in the Barn concerts.

This is the kind of B and B where you feel like you can sit in the chairs, relax by the fire, read books, look at family photos, pet the dogs, in short, act as you would at home, if you lived in a vintage Maine farmhouse. Authentic to a t, relaxed place to spend a night or a few....

Lisa's bed and breakfast was the perfect place to get away for the weekend. We woke up to the most delicious breakfast then headed up the road for a glorious day of skiing at Sugarloaf. Our bed was super cozy and we love the resident dogs, as well! We are Mainers but often like to be a tourist in our...

The place looked nice on the web, when we arrived at 8pm, everything was dark, and there was written advice where to find our room. In the morning we had a short meeting with the landlady that I would not call friendly (we missed in the notes that breakfast is served only until 9am and dared to ask for breakfast...

This couple from Germany stayed here last September during our very busy and glorious Fall foliage season. They arrived after mid-night at a time when all six rooms were occupied and yes, I left a note on the door as is my custom for arrivals after 7:00 PM who have not given me an arrival time. I serve a full...

This is a lovely stop off and a comfortable place to lay your head when you are visiting sugar loaf mountain. The small town has a couple of good restaurants and a museum of cars which is very interesting. Very rural and relaxing.

Everything about your stay here is perfect. Lisa is very accomodating. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was top notch. But best of all are the dogs, Rusty and Cisco make you feel at home. Thanx for a very pleasant stay.

This is a nice B&B with a cozy living room used by all. Bedroom was nice, we got the 2 single beds instead of a queen. Everything nice and clean. Great breakfast made to order. Easy to find right on the Main Road as you come in the city from the south. 3 pm check in.

I'm usually happy to have a place to lay my head and take a hot shower. While researching places to stay, the farm looked cozy and inviting. I was not disappointed. My room was immaculate and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, washcloths and robe. If you're looking to veg in front of the television, forget it. No...

The first impression of Mountain Village Farm was of vast grounds well tended, neat buildings large and small tucked around, and a lovely gabled farm house anchoring it all. As we gathered our things from the car, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Lisa Standish. She led us past a small garden and into a clean and utterly charming...
