Not on the coast, but close enough for easy sightseeing around Kennebunkport Rhumb Line is a bit date and not fancy at all, although it does have both an indoor and outdoor pool and a hot tub. The decor is very 70s, but basically comfortable with a decent free breakfast.
Enjoyed our stay here as a family of 4. The decor is a little tired but it was perfectly clean and comfortable with clean bedding and towels and comfy beds. My kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and we had a nice meal at the restaurant. Breakfast was nice too, with fresh fruit on offer. The dripping water from the gym ceiling was a little off putting, but it was still usable. Parking near our room was easy and, although our room overlooked the pool, it wasn’t too noisy after 10pm.
Upon check in everything looked very nice. We checked out the indoor pool and hot tub the were ok could use some updating you could tell it was very old. The room was nothing special again dated needs a good upgrade!! In the shower there is a line to hang your wet bathing suit, I thought that was a neat feature I never seen it anywhere else. The beds need to be replaced you can feel the springs in them. I like the fact you have two doors one goes out to the patio we were on the bottom floor , the other is your main door in hotel. The grounds need some sprucing up! The out side pool was very nice. The out door hot tub was big but falling apart need updating. I though it was so neat the have a bar where you can just sit have some drinks and order food if your hungry!! First time seeing that! I like that a lot! All in all is really just needs a major upgrade!!! The worst part was it was really out of the way, to far to walk to town. I have been coming to this area for 25 years so this is not my first time in the area. One more thing the breakfast was ok and the coffee was good!…
We checked in on July 14th, 2022 at 1am. The keys were left at the front desk which was fine since we were getting in after midnight. The minute we opened the door to our room I wanted to leave! The rooms are old, dingy, dirty and in MAJOR need of an update or better yet level it and start over. The carpeting was stained, dirty and not even vacuumed well! The bed was OK and looked clean but the rest of the room including the bathroom was disgusting! We had to make the most of the four nights there as our son was getting married in Kennebunkport so we felt stuck. We had friends and family booked there as well and I was embarrassed that we "chose" this place to stay. The upside to this property is the property itself, but the hotel/motel is gross and so dingy. The photos online look nothing like what you actually get - as if they are staged photos. Never again!!…
Absolutely terrible. We booked a non-pool view room in this “resort” for a 3 night stay but had to check out after the first night. Our vacation was ruined and we are going home as nothing else is available in the area. Pictures posted on booking websites are deceiving, the “resort” is in bad shape. Spider web and mold in the room, old broken furniture, filthy bathroom, dirty indoor pool, non-working wi-fi. Not even able to get a hot spot in the room. Oh, and a single lonely plastic chair outside so two people cannot sit outside at the same time… how much does it cost to get plastic furniture?!
Everything about this place is outdated! In need of an extreme makeover! Rug is old with stains. The bathroom was clean but the linoleum was beige with red stains. We expected better for the price! Location is the positive.
Although it's not one of the more fancy places in the area, it was a great place for my grandsons and my sons and their families. They enjoyed both the pools, the pavilion where you can get some food and Lobster! Also a cocktail if you want - everyone was very friendly and helpful
My son and I booked this last second and we really enjoyed it. Yes, the property is a little tired but it's clean and a good value. Equally important is the staff was super, super friendly (especially the young lady who checked us in!). If you want something fancy, look elsewhere but otherwise this will perfectly suit your needs.
Do not stay here if you want quiet. Pool view rooms can hear every noise at the pool or hot tub. Kids running up and down the halls until 10pm. Indoor pool area needs a lot of work. Inside Pool edge was gross like it haven’t been cleaned in a long time and water was cloudy. There are many other places to stay. Beware.
This is not a resort, it's a motel. Worst place I've ever stayed in my life. I was in the military, so I've done a lot of traveling. First, we checked into our room. There was hair in the sink, toilet and tub. Then we went to the pool area it was nasty there was mold and doors were nasty. The bed was ok. Breakfast was terrible, they had coffee, milk, cereal, bagels and 1 toaster. This motel reminds me of the bates motel. Do yourself a favor and stay at a motel 8 you would feel better. The reviews I saw were on TripAdvisor and they said it was good however read the reviews on booking, they give you a better perspective of this nasty place. Don't stay that's all I have to say. You want a true resort there are plenty around! I wouldn't let my dogs stay here! Old carpet, old shower head (I think it was from the 60's). There are no elevators! You are charged 1.50 per day per person for cleaning crew. I usually leave a tip however the 3.00 was enough!…
