We stayed for three nights at the guest house while we were here for a wedding. We had a lovely stay. Chris is welcoming and fun to talk to. The breakfasts he creates are delicious. The house is warm and welcoming.
Stayed here for a couple of nights in the downstairs room (the study) - very comfortable room. The Old Parsonage has parking and a short 7 minute walk into town. Chris used to be a chef and so the breakfast (served all together family style) is amazing. Thoroughly recommended.
We stayed at the Old Parsonage for one night with our two teenage boys, whilst touring Maine and New Hampshire. The Old Parsonage was full of character as you would expect for a place nearly 150 years old! The bedrooms were really comfortable, with a lovely shared lounge and dining room. Breakfast was amazing, with cooked and baked items, along with fruit, plus tea and coffee. Chris was very welcoming and a great host.
On April 11, 2022, we reserved a room at the Old Parsonage Guest House for July 29. We were required to pay a $317 deposit, so we did. However, we cancelled that reservation on April 14. more than three months before the date of our reservation. We asked for refund of our deposit, but our request was denied, and our attempts to communicate with the Hotel rudely ignored.
This cute bed and breakfast is in a great location. Chris and Zoe “showed us the ropes” at the house, have some great recommendations and directions around Kennebunkport. The house is very clean and comfy. They even have a common area for wine or cocktails. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy those but it was a lovely option.
Excellent location, pleasant 10 minute walk into town so you can leave your car at the house if you do not plan to go too far. Chris is a good host and very good cook. Breakfast is yum and filling. Handy beach parking permits available. Wine selection is solid - Chris is a oenophile so chat him up and he may produce a bottle that suits you. We stayed in the family room. It is creaky and old but charming and quiet. Watch out for the king bed frame at night it juts out - I slammed my shin into one time. Tip - Chris is also an audiophile - if you have the time and interest, he may share his amazing hifi setup with you.
Great host and location. This bed and breakfast is a quick walk to the center of town, which makes it the perfect location. There is off street parking at the B&B which is a win. If you want to enjoy a true family-owned Maine B&B this is the place for you. Chris makes a delicious breakfast that will tickle your taste buds and leave your whole family smiling. The rooms are a good size for a family of 4 and the bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are a little firm for my taste, but trust me you will love staying here.
My husband and I stayed at this fabulous little B and B for 2 nights. Chris is an excellent innkeeper/host! He thinks of every detail to make your stay enjoyable and is available by cellphone if you need anything or have any questions while you’re there. If you would enjoy quant accommodations (only 3 rooms in the house) within a short walk to all Kennebunkport has to offer and an amazing family-style breakfast, then this is the place for you!
We decided to spend two nights in Kennebunkport at the last minute and chose the Old Parsonage Guest House due to its proximity to downtown. I'm so glad we did. The price was affordable, the hospitality was amazing and the historic lodging was nicer than expected. However, the highlight of the stay had to be the breakfasts. The quality and variety was amazing. There was something for every dietary restriction. A wonderful stay overall!
We had a wonderful experience at the Old Parsonage Guest House! The house was incredibly warm and welcoming, and within a 5 minute walk to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. We appreciated the town map with recommendations on restaurants and where to find the beautiful views. The breakfast was by far the highlight of our stay! We woke up to the smell of coffee and freshly baked coffee cake. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip, and we left with very full stomachs!
