Stayed there for 1 night for to attend a an event at Jonathan's in Ogunquit's. My first impression as we entered the room was the smell of cleanliness! Very ample bathroom with all you need for toiletries-you don't need to bring anything, all is supplied-even a black makeup remover washcloth! so cute and handy! comfortable bed and pillows, pet friendly,... We stayed here while making a Thanksgiving visit to Maine and this is a pet friendly hotel which was great as we were traveling with our small pet bird. We were able to check in a bit earlier which gave us a chance to get out and check out the area. When we checked in Matt was very helpful and... More

Needed to stay one night on our way to a college in northern Maine and stopped at the Port Inn. Rooms were clean, nice and comfortable. Continental breakfast was included and exactly what we needed. Offseason rate was under $100 for the night so you can't beat the price. Would definitely stay there again.

We were amazed how beautiful this facility was and the overall service provided. The breakfast did not offer much variety with limited cereal choice and only 1 type of milk. This is definitely aimed for the health conscious traveler. A bowl of candy corn on the registration counter looked inviting except we did not want to stick our hand and... More

We visited for one night and enjoyed the feel of the Inn. It was quiet, the beds are fluffy and comfortable, The welcoming host was friendly and helpful. I rated the Inn at only 4 stars because of the distinct odd smell in our room. At first I thought it was build-up of years of mold, but it wasn't. It... More

What a delightful surprise this inn was. Surrounded by nature, quiet, and just a delight. Cleanest room I have ever stayed in. What a luxury that is ! Very nice room, cozy lounge and breakfast area, great staff. Continental breakfast, but lots of choices: you can even make your own waffles or pancakes. Will definately stay here again.

We arrived at the Port Inn late in the evening; we were welcomed to the Inn with graciousness and enthusiasm and shown to a large, spotlessly clean well equipped efficiency king room. Initially we booked in for three nights and extended leaving after eight nights. We chose to extend our stay as we were extremely comfortable at the Port Inn,... More

On a dull road a bit out of town, with ground-floor rooms with separate entrances, this is a bit like an up-market motel. Rooms comfortable and spacious; use of computer available in foyer; OK hot buffet at breakfast; heated pool not very warm; and with a treacherous steep slope away from the shallow end; competent staff. We found it rather... More

We enjoyed our two-night stay at the Port Inn. The check-in process was efficient, and we were provided with second floor rooms as we had requested many months earlier since they are apparently quieter. The Inn is well-maintained, and parking is convenient. The room is spacious with a comfortable bed, plenty of electrical outlets and a large flat screen tv,... More

Dear JillClardy, Thank you so much for the 5 star review. We are delighted to see you enjoyed your stay with us. We noted your comments on the throw -away utensils and wanted to let you know that we are putting together a more aggressive Eco Friendly program here at the Port Inn. The plates and bowls are compostable and... More

I booked this "motel" almost at the last minute when my husband and I unexpectedly found ourselves in the area for one night at the end of September. During the height of the fall 'leaf peeping' season in Maine, I selected this hotel primarily based on price alone. We were able to get a good rate when many other places... More
