Warm and friendly accommodations. Beautiful location. We stayed in the Hide-a-way which was roomy and comfortable. We had a private patio and entrance. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and a beautiful view of the cove. Staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start our honeymoon.

Stayed summer 2012 and the reviews of bufflehead are spot on. The property, owners, service and food are all fantastic. Would definitely recommend to others. Our room, the river cottage was immaculate. Homemade blueberry pancake breakfast overlooking the river. Outstanding tech amenities - especially for a b&b! Flat screen TV's, Apple networking products in the room...how thoughtful. We'd definitely go...

We have stayed in many B&Bs in New England, and the rest of the country. Bufflehead Cove is our very favorite. We have stayed here quite often over the years, and it is always perfect. The rooms are wonderful, and the breakfasts are always the best. Harriet and Jim have always been great hosts, and now that Erin has become...

My wife and I enjoy a quiet "get away from it all" kind of vacation. Bufflehead Cove Inn provides just the environment we love. I almost don't want to write a review for fear word will get out about this great spot on the Kennebunk River. It is close enough to shopping and restaurants which we enjoy during the day...

After a rather disappointing stay at Boothbay, due to the lack of warmth of our hosts, Bufflehead Cove was totally different. We were greeted by young Erin – who runs the house with his parents who was at pains to show us everything and set us up for a delightful stay, even if this was going to be one night....

My wife and I made plans to go to Maine for two days prior to a wedding in Boston and wanted to make the most of our stay. The Bufflehead Cove Inn was the piece of our trip that made everything perfect. We stayed in the garden room which is tucked behind the Inn amongst a lucious garden of plants...

My husband and I have returned to Bufflehead Cove three years in a row and have already booked our vacation for next year. We love the beautiful and very peaceful location right on the cove. The breakfasts are outstanding, the B&B owners are more than accommodating. I can't say enough about the consistently wonderful experience we always have at Bufflehead...

We spent two wonderful days at the Bufflehead Cove Inn. The location is ideal, overlooking the Kennebunk River, away from the road and the noise. It is quiet, cool and peaceful. Our room, the Balcony, was spacious and very confortable. The service was excellent. The innkeepers were discreet, helpful and made us feel welcome. We highly recommend this B&B for...

Celebrating my birthday in New England was wonderful, largely due to the warm hospitality of everyone we came in contact with at Bufflehead Cove. Even before our arrival, my husband contacted the inn to ask about having a gift basket ready for me at check-in as well as arranging a fishing trip during our stay. Erin was more than happy...

We found Bufflehead Cove five or six years ago and have gone back every year since; we try to go twice a year when possible. The best and most beautiful breakfasts, bar none, of any B&B, the most relaxing river view ever, whether from the front porch, the Adirondack chairs, or the view from our room, and Harriet and Erin...
