This bandb is truly wonderful. The sheets are soft and silky. The towels large and fluffy. The history of the home (told to us by the Innkeeper) is educational and very interesting. The enormous breakfast was delicious. Homemade muffins and granola just to get you started. Don't miss this gem!

We had two comfortable rooms on the top floor, though we were out and about and barely spent any time in them. The two sitting rooms downstairs were comfortable for chatting. The hosts were exceptionally pleasant and helpful in recommending places to go that appealed to us. We liked the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the history of the lovely old...

We stayed at the Inn over Memorial Day weekend as we had a wedding in Kennebunkport. We didn't want to stay at the site of the wedding but wanted to do an Inn. Having read some reviews, we booked it for 2 nights. It was delightful! Mostly due to the gracious hosts, John and Cathy. They knew so much about...

We just had a wonderful weekend at the Waldo Emerson Inn Bed and Breakfast that was built in 1753. The Inn is just beautiful inside and out. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. The room we stayed in had a great fireplace; almost all of the rooms at the inn have a fireplace. The 1st night’s firewood was supplied by...

John and Cathy provide an authentic, welcoming B&B experience. The history of the building is fascinating. The breakfasts are wonderful. Have been back several times and never been disappointed. Fall is our favorite, (October for peak leaf peeping) but it was great for Prelude at Christmastime as well.

We spent a Saturday night at the Waldo Emerson Inn B&B. We called last minute at 9pm and the owners were very accommodating. We had the room downstairs next to the dining room. It was clean & tastefully decorated. We were greeted by Waldo the Inns toy poodle ( I love to see pets at a B&B because I am...

We recently started our holiday with a 2 night stay at the Waldo Emerson Inn. It was within easy driving distance of Boston Logan International Airport and seemed to be the ideal location. On arrival we were greeted by Kathy who not only showed us around the Inn, filled us in on the history of the property including its use...

This B&B provided the basics. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There is only one breakfast made every day with no choice. Picky eaters may want to choose another place to stay. The food was well prepared and all that we needed to start our day. We were only there one night. All rooms are upstairs and...

Perfect place to stay in historic old home near Kennebunkport. Innkeepers are ready to serve and make your stay pleasant in every way. Breakfasts are delicious, strictly home-made, and elegantly plated. There is absolutely nothing not to like about this lovely inn.
