My wife and I stated two nights. It was amazing! Less than a mile from the beach and downtown. The front desk was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and local activities. The morning breakfast delivery was delicious and a great touch. If your looking for a relaxing get-away this is the place.
We were deciding where to go this summer when we happend upon an article about the Wanderer Cottages. We thought it looked great so we booked it. Friends said they drove past it and it was adorable...and they were right. Situated on a corner, you drive up and it is the cutest place. The reception area is warm and inviting. Check in was easy. There are approx 16 cottages. We stayed in Nomad. It was beautiful. If I could have them come and decorate my house, I would. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom is a 2 parter(toilet/shower and sink/mirror separate) which was great. There is a mini fridge. Housekeeping came every day and replaced everything. The rooms are on the smaller side, but it was fine for 2 of us. The staff was lovely and helpful. They have bikes which you can take. The beach is a little over a mile away so you can ride there. They also have small beach chairs(like stadium chairs) that you can also take, both complementary. I will say our favorite part of staying here was the "breakfast surprise". Every morning by 8:15, there is a cooler hanging from a hook on your porch with the yummiest breakfast from a local bakery. Every day was something different and delish. Bagels, danish, yogurt, etc. We loved it all..and it was one less meal we had to think about. The cottages are centrally located to Kennebunkport..probably a 5 min drive and 25 min to Ogunquit. We spent time in both and loved them both. The only bummer for us was the pool has not been inspected by the state yet, so it was closed, but we got over that. And, it should be open very shortly. It is small but looked amazing! Taylor, the GM, is so sweet and so knowledgeable about the area(he is from there). The staff is so nice, it makes you never want to leave. If you are considering staying here, try it...you wont be disappointed.…
My husband and I stayed for two nights. The property is less than a mile from the beach and downtown Kennebunk/port. We road their complimentary bikes and carried the complimentary beach chairs. There is parking at beach should you want to drive. The property is quaint, clean.... just adorable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. A cooler bag was left for us each day with a continental breakfast. Croissant, juice and a yogurt and waters. Would definitely stay here again.
