Have been seasonal since I was 16. 40 years of making memories as a teenager and now with my own children. Zeman Rv Resorts bought this family campground about 2 years ago management is horrible and two faced. Rude to their elderly seasonal owners. They have succeeded in now having my elderly parents putting their beautiful unit up for sale. Ending all future memories with their family. My families hearts are broken thank you for the new awful memories you have created for my family.

It is about two years since Zeman RV took over Yankeeland. In those two years it has gone in reverse. Services have been reduced,activities by the Campground are next to nothing, the condition of the property is getting worse and yet the price keeps going up. Zeman has increased the fees by $600 for seasonal sites for 2020 and 2021.The over night fee has almost doubled in those years. It would appear as though Zeman wants to get it's investment back quickly. If travelers check, fees iin the area are much lower. The campground down the road just opened a new area with a yearly fee of$2600, It is a shame to see Yankeeland go down hill but I guess big Corporations are only interested in money. Travelers should be aware that all that is listed on some sites for activities have been eliminated. There are showers, laundry, a basketball court,a Wi-Fi that has a mind of it's own. The store is very seldom open, there is no bingo, security gate that is never closed and LP gas is sold by a truck that goes through the Campground on Saturdays.…

New owners. On site manager ihas eliminated things. The store,arcade and pool are closed at 5 pm weekdays and 8 pm weekends. On a hot night the kids have little to do..The security is like non existent. The use of any tools or equipment of the campground has been discontinued Not a good way for New owners to take over a campgroud..With the reduction of the above there has been no reduction in price.

This campground is good if you are not looking for a resort, but average price small wooded sites. They are mostly seasonal sites, however they have a few full hook-up with 50 amps. Sites are small. They have a pool, laundry, small store, small play ground. People are nice and leave you alone. You are about 15 minutes to either kennebunk port beaches or Wells Maine where you can find ice cream and restaurants.

Never knew that Yankeeland campground existed, until my cousin mentioned it to me I went online and decided to give it a try. My husband and I reserved a site, they gave us site 25. It was a very spacious site not far of a walk to bathroom and showers which was a plus. I would stay there again.

Yankeeland is a great place to camp and for a great price! I’ve now been there twice this season. The owners are super nice and the staff is very friendly. They guided me into my campsite and let me borrow an electric cord because mine was a bit short. The sites are spacious for the most part. There is a well maintained pool, two playgrounds, a basketball court, bocce ball court, and volleyball net. It’s a great family campground and there are people of all ages, from retired to those with young families. Everyone is friendly and you will always get a “hello” when you walk by someone. The office/store, sells ice and firewood, along with some snacks and candy. There is a small game room with a handful of arcade games. Some Saturday nights they play a movie at the pavilion and have popcorn. My only complaint is that people drive too fast through the campground. Kennebunkport is a short drive away with restaurants and shops. Gooches beach is in Kennebunk, you can pay at a kiosk to park. Drive a bit north or a bit south and you will find a great resuaturant or an activity for the kids.…

We had spent 8 nights in July the past two summers and have already booked for this coming summer. Rates are very affordable especially compared to most campgrounds in the surrounding areas. The owners and staff are very friendly. The location is great and only about 10 minutes from our favorite beach and many others. We enjoy going to Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunkport, Cabela's in Scarborough, and Freeport and this location is in between and perfect for us. We recommended this campground to family and friends who then camped here as well and now camp here as well. There are lots of seasonal sites and the residents have all been very friendly. We have had no issues with loud noise either which is nice. The pool and two playgrounds were nice for my daughter. We definitely plan on coming here every summer. When we went to leave this past summer we realized that the brakes in our truck had gone, I went to the office about an hour before we were supposed to check out to let them know the situation and that my husband had to go into town (another friendly camper gave him a ride to the parts store) to get a new brake line and other parts to fix it and then fix it. The girl working in the office looked on the computer and said that no one was coming in to our spot until the next day, not to worry about it, and take as much time as we needed. We really appreciated this as we were not able to leave until about 2 hours after we were supposed to.…

Everyone here is so friendly. Amazing staff, can't do enough to help you. Immaculate bathrooms, showers, and laundry. This is our first season so we have tried the pool yet but it looks great. River is very inviting, looking forward to going for a canoe ride.

We enjoy visiting this campground. The owners are so friendly and helpful, all the staff are and you can see they take pride in their campground. The bathrooms are very clean! The wifi is ok, and the pool is large and clean and my kids love it. It isn't heated, so I choose not to swim, that would be a major improvement if they were to make any. Excellent location! Great for everyone!

This is by far, one of the absolute BEST campgrounds My family and I have ever been to!! 2014 was our first year here and it certainly won't be our last!!! The owners are very nice, and pleasant to visit with, not to mention the Staff is absolutely amazing!!!! Very clean campground. Even the bathrooms are clean!! We had an amazing time here. Met a lot of very nice people that we now consider FRIENDS! We were here for a total of 17 days....after day 4, we booked our vacation for 2015! Love this place and all of the staff that work here!!! Can't wait to go back!
