We managed to wrangle one of the cabins via timeshare exchange during peak foliage season, and we were very glad we did. Here are our observations. The cabins are spacious, clean, well-stocked, and just beautiful inside and out (see pictures). The kitchen was well-equipped, the jetted tub was delightful after a day of hiking, and the large deck was great...

I read all the other reviews and share many of the compliments that are mentioned. We staying in room #6 on the second floor. It was roomy with a separate bedroom with access to the bathroom. The kitchen was stocked for use and all the appliances were full sized. There is a laundry center downstairs and a great indoor pool...

I am so happy that Interval has added this lovely, off the beaten path resort to their options. It is in a fantastic area for people who enjoy outdoor activities or just want to get away from it all. We rented a spacious and pristine 3 bedroom cabin in a wooded area that was supplied with a fully equipped kitchen...

This is a very nice resort. We used the RCI exchange and found it to be clean, bright and with a very friendly and helpful staff. The hot tub and indoor pool areas are well kept and the outdoor pool an excellent place to enjoy the sun and fresh air of this stunning location. Jackman is a good place to...

This accommodation is in a remote area. We stayed in the main building. Our outlook was beautiful. Excellent friendly staff. The lounge area is separate from the bedroom and there was also a kitchen with everything you could possibly want. So peaceful here and extremely clean. Jackman is not particularly touristy but it has a charm. We hoped we would...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here on an Interval International (II) exchange. Our stay was to have begun on the Saturday before Memorial Day (23 May 2015), but we arrived late on Memorial Day since we wanted to stay in Kennebunk 2 nights after flying from Nashville into Portland by early afternoon that Saturday. We enjoyed the layout...

I stayed here recently while up in the Moosehead Lake region. We stayed in the main lodge; however they do have 5 cabins for rent. We had room #5 which was on the 2nd floor to the right and it was perfect for privacy and quiet. The room is very nice, large with a full kitchen and the bed was...

I have stayed at various locations in Jackman over the years while up there for snowmobiling and the Mountainview Resort is the location I've enjoyed most to date. I had a 1 bedroom condo, with a full kitchen, with all that's needed, dining room, living room bedroom and bathroom, all spacious. There was also a balcony which is best enjoyed...

Room was very spacious and clean. We used the pool and hot tub. We found the resort to be quiet and very relaxing. We came to go white water rafting and I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to stay in the area.

With relatively little investment, this could be a great, rather than a good, place. The lodge accomodations have a woodsy, cozy feel, but the bed in our unit was soft and wobbly, terribly uncomfortable. The bedding seriously needs ungrading! Oh, I can imagine how pretty it would be! The bedroom's design is unique with the glass doors to make up...
