The Man-Friend and I hit the road on a hot, breezy Saturday and made our way up 95 from Boston to Freeport, Maine for a little LL Bean, and a little chillaxing. Maine is so pretty, and Freeport was hardly crowded June 19, probably because the full summer crowd wasn't in the state yet, and it was also such a...

Had a horrrible experience , the breakfast was nothing to write home about, and the rooms were uncomfortable, would never go back, the owner was grumpy and rude.

We took a little babymoon on the coast of maine. I am extremely pleased with our choice of the harpswell inn. We stayed in the regal "captains quarters." fabulous room, water views, a bed to die for. Loved the inn keepers... from the homemade (nothing i could make at home!) breakfasts, to the restaurant and activity suggestions, to their sweet...

Stayed two nights in this great inn. We were visiting a friend in Brunswick and due to Bowdoin homecoming weekend all the local inns were full. Lucky us that we found this inn only about a 15 minute drive away. Very friendly innkeepers, delicious breakfast and great area to explore. Really incredible views from both the inn and nearby. Great...

Our family stayed in the Moody cottage at the Harpswell Inn and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. The cottage is not modern, but honestly that was a great part of its appeal. A comfortable and cozy step back in time. The beds and linens were both restful. It had great space, a well equipt kitchen, lovely...

My husband and I have been renting a cottege in Harpswell, Maine in late summer for three years now and have fallen in love with the area. On a bit of a whim, we decided we'd like to see "Maine in the winter" this year, and booked a room for three nights at the Harpswell Inn over President's Day/Valentine's Day...

This is a wonderful historic inn located on a hillside overlooking a peaceful cove. Our extra-large rooms were tastefully decorated with antiques, our beds were very comfortable. There is a large family room where we read books and played cards. One of the innkeepers, a graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute served us our choice of delicious breakfast each morning...

Both my boyfriend and I had different reasons for needing rest and relaxation from the "real world". For him it was a much needed peaceful recuperation time after surgery. The Harpswell Inn provided a beautiful, picture perfect setting for a fulfilling coastal Maine experience. Innkeepers Ann and Richard were friendly, thoughtful and considerate. We stayed five days in the Captains...
