It starts with a very secluded location with awesome water views. The guest quarters are physically separate from the home so even more privacy. There are two rooms (upper and lower). We stayed in the ground floor room which was very very nice. You will here some noise from the guests upstairs so if the bothers you request the upstairs...

We loved our stay at this quiet, peaceful and beautiful spot. The two guest rooms are meticulously clean and, because the guest rooms are in a separate building connected to Karen's home by a breezeway, we had more privacy than normally found in B&B's. The breezeway is a sweet spot that provides both sun and shade and allows for views...

Worth a trip just for the destination, remote farm with great views, Karen is a great hostess that works very hard to make sure you're taken care of and enjoying what northern Maine has to offer... Close to Acadia / Bar Harbor for fun day trips and hikes and numerous scenic drives.

My sister and I stayed in the two rooms in the fall. Very nice rooms, walks on the property, a short walk to the Tidal Falls, breakfasts were delicious. Our host was friendly and helpful with tips about the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Once you arrive you wish you could stay longer. Karen is a discreet thoughtful hostess. Her house is worth the visit in itself, not only the energy-efficient details are worth noticing but the house itself is beautifully built, an architectural work of art. A few steps take you down to the edge of the water and you can sit there...

Perfect location away from Bar Harbor but convenient for day trips to Acadia National Park. Karen is a wonderful hostess. And provides useful tips for local restaurants and touring the Park. She prepares excellent breakfast choices from local producers. Room is very clean and quiet. Would definitely return .

We had an enjoyable one-night stay at this lovely B and B, which is so different because it is an off-the-grid farm, complete with sheep, chickens, ducks and bees. It is picturesque, as the house is not far from and has a view of the shoreline of Sullivan Bay. We took a short walk to the shore at low tide...

As I've written before, we enjoy bed & breakfasts for lodging, breakfast and our host/ess. Three pines has it all. Your first drive down the dirt road will seem longer than it is. But it brings you through the farm portion to the B&B setting: an impeccably well-maintained and decorated home with two separate (one over the other) attached guest...

Three Pines is a beautiful B&B nestled among the trees at the end of a long country road. After you pass the barn with the llama and goats, you come to the lovely home with its fabulous water view. With only two guest rooms, Three Pines is a real retreat. Sit on the deck and drink in the views or...
