We spent a September weekend here so we could enjoy a moose adventure in nearby Greenville. The accommodations were very comfortable. The B&B is decorated beautifully with wonderful period accents and furnishings. There is so much attention to detail with soft colorful sheets, refreshing bath products and crystal drinking glasses in our room. Mike and Wendy were gracious hosts and the breakfasts are creative and delicious. P.S. I loved the sheets so much, I asked Wendy where she purchased them and I ordered a set for ourselves when we returned home.
I spent three nights here while in central Maine for a family event nearby. Wendy and Mike were great owners and hosts; very welcome and attentive. The property is beautifully decorated and appointed. Wendy prepared three delicious, nutritious and inventive breakfasts. My room was clean and comfortable, and I had a relaxing stay. I just wish I'd had more time to enjoy the library and living room downstairs! I definitely recommend this B&B and I hope to have reason to stay here again!
What a wonderful stay! We were there October 23-27. The house is beautiful, Wendy and Mike were excellent hosts, and the creative and delicious breakfasts were something we looked forward to every morning. I found that Wendy and I have a lot in common so we had some really great conversations. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area!
We spent a night at the Guilford Bed & Breakfast after a moose adventure trip in the Greenville area. As we would be arriving late in the evening, Mike and Wendy gladly arranged for us to check-in outside of their normal hours. The B&B is a beautifully decorated house that is conveniently located between Augusta and Greenville. We were in the Rose room which is an excellent room. The bed is comfortable, the decorations/furnishings are very nice, and there is plenty of space. Wendy’s breakfast was great. It is very obvious from the quality of the food that she greatly enjoys cooking. We highly recommend this B&B.
We took a 30 day trip and stayed mostly at B&Bs. This B&B experience was not as warm and inviting as some. The house is big and charming. It was chilly inside. We had to wear jackets inside. While we were told we were welcome to be in the living room as well as the library, there were no lights on in those rooms. We went to the dining room for breakfast and were told basically to come back in 10 minutes. I was just looking for coffee... We arrived in the early evening after a day of sight-seeing, and couldn't see to put the key in the door to our room. No hall lights on... Breakfast was different than most. A spring mix salad isn't standard breakfast fare. Assuming that everyone likes oatmeal for their breakfast is presumptuous at best... Without options. While the food was certainly nutritious, it was unusual. The bed was comfy and the water pressure was good! Nice and quiet until the factory sounded their horn for employees to begin work.…
Our stay exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Cummings room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable (and I am picky about my pillows)! It’s a wonderful Victorian era home with a modern bathroom. The food was delicious, healthy and filling. You can learn about area sites and noteworthy foods. You can tell there is a lot of attention to the details to include quality soaps, fingernail polish remover and a sewing kit under the sink, plenty of shelves for travel items, suitcase stands, and unlimited coffee and tea! If you're in Maine, fit a stay here into your trip!
Family of three stayed in the Hudson room - the room itself was spacious while the bathroom a little small. Very clean and comfortable. Mike and Wendy were very friendly, helpful and the breakfasts cannot be beat! Just the right serving sizes, homemade pastries and entries - fresh and delicious. Loved the homemade bearclaws and the cranberry orange bread. Snickers the dog greeted us and was a welcome visitor during our meals. Mike was very helpful - providing wine glasses and a corkscrew. Enjoyed evenings out on the screened in porch. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Mike and Wendy were amazing hosts. Wendy makes a killer breakfast! The room was nice and what a beautiful house. Oh and if you love friendly baby dogs, Snickers is a lovely host as well. Thank you for having us. Hopefully we’ll be back this way again some day.
Cute Victorian. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days because his grandmother was unable to come up due to the Coronavirus, so she gave it to us despite us being from the area. Very friendly and a delicious breakfast.
