Monica and Rock are super at making you feel wonderfully welcome to visit them. The breakfast was superb every morning. Rock loved using the freshest local ingredients and Monica was entertaining as she served up the creations of the morning. They were able to engage each guest in conversation that was warm and friendly. Bottom line - you felt welcomed...

The White Cedar Inn has a great in-town location so you can leave the car and walk to all Freeport's shops and restaurants. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable - using the floorplan on the website, we chose the Crow's Nest room - tucked away upstairs and away from the main road. The staircase is a bit steep with heavy...

I spent a night in the Crow's Nest room with a friend on the May 24 long weekend for a shopping getaway. Everything was wonderful: very clean, nicely decorated, good breakfast, really nice hosts, comfortable bed, etc. There's wifi, a computer w/internet to check your email, and a comfortable guest living room with a TV and lots of magazines, books...

My husband and I and our Portuguese water dog Noah spent two nights at the White Cedar Inn during our recent trip to Freeport, ME to purchase fly fishing equipment at L L Bean. The Bowdoin (the room designated for guests traveling with a dog) was welcoming, cozy, attractively decorated, and extremely clean. There were dishes and dog treats for...

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for 1 night with our 2 year old son. I was nervous about bringing my son to an inn setting, but it was actually quite wonderful. Rock and Monica were both very accommodating and even let us choose the room where we would be most comfortable. The food was great, the atmosphere...

Everything from the reservations to checkout was smooth and pleasant. We are a family with two young boys and an infant and never once felt as...

This Bed and Breakfast was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The innkeeper suggested several sights to visit that we would not have known about, and they became some of the highlights of our trip. Evening cookies were delicious, and breakfast with a lovely view, to include a playful chipmunk, was outstanding. This inn made all others on our trip a...

Rock and Monica are extremely welcoming hosts. We enjoyed talking with them and other guests. Our room, the Winthrop Fogg, was lovely and relaxing. Many thoughtful touches--from the guest fridge to the remote controlled stove to the big bowl of Hershey kisses to the delicious breakfast--made one feel at home. No, wait, better than at home!
