Stayed with the Autumn Adventure Package which is a great deal. Tavern is 5 star and our lobster rolls were one of the best we've ever had. However, this hotel needs updating. Rooms have not been updated in the 15+ years I have been staying at this hotel. There was leftover pizza in our mini fridge and ice cream in the freezer from previous guest so makes me question how well the rooms are cleaned. I think it's loud an clear from other reviews that the hotel needs a major renovation.

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I have stayed at the Harraseeket Inn three times. We stayed here for our honeymoon back in 1993, took our grown children on a family vacation a few years ago and recently we did a getaway trip for a little R&R. The Inn is pretty much the same as it was 28 years ago. It is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast which is included was fresh, hot, and offered a nice variety. Our room had a wood burning fireplace which was stocked with kindling and wood and a vase of fresh flowers which added a nice touch to the overall experience. It’s location is close to shopping and a short drive to many sightseeing adventures. I can’t say enough good things about the Harraseeket Inn and its staff! We cannot wait to visit again!

We were there the second week of October 2021. This inn is the perfect mix of coziness and hotel. They have 2 seating areas around gas fireplaces as well as a two sided fireplace in the breakfast room. The Broad Arrow restaurant also has a fireplace. This adds to the cozy feel of the inn. The breakfast is excellent and features many options and featured selections change daily. It was delicious and served in an elegant buffet. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, roomy, and well maintained. The main restaurant is the best restaurant in Freeport. We ate here 3 of the four nights. Some entrees that we had were lobster pasta, fish and chips, and haddock sandwich. All were delicious! The chocolate creme brûlée was an unusual and decadent dessert while the blueberry pie was the best we had this trip. We have been coming here since 1993 and are so thankful for the consistent service and quality.

Very dated, need to update hotel. Mice running around dining room. Run. This hotel is in a good location and that's it. Rooms so outdated . This hotel was part of a Tauck tour and cannot understand why.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review and comments. I am so sorry to hear that your stay with us was not a pleasant one. I'm unsure about the mice you mention but we do have a program in place to ensure this isn't an issue. I will definitely look into this further and ensure it is addressed. We do look forward to renovations in the near future to update our guest rooms. I hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you, Josh Cushing General Manager

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is very convenient and only a few steps away from the Freeport city center. The rooms were traditional but very cozy, the breakfast plentiful and the restaurant serves local food, especially the fish dishes were delicious. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel does not automatically serve and clean your room but you can order them service and it will be done quickly.
