This really charming place is a pleasant surprise. I live in Wiscasset (1 mile from the Inn) and suggest all my friends to stay there as they up Mid-Coast Maine. Beautiful setting, very well maintained, very friendly staff. This is my second review of the hotel, both excellent. However, it is under new ownership and they have expanded services and...

We'd driven past this lovely spot for years, on our way to a vacation cottage nearby. Last fall, when we could get away for just a few days we made a reservation at Cod Cove Inn. What a wise choice! I concur with all of the rave reviews; it's a cozy, welcoming place with squeaky-clean rooms, a generous and delicious...

Clean quiet rooms, great views, extremely friendly staff, and homemade muffins for breakfast. Stayed here on a business trip but would definitely stay again on a vacation. Inn is near a number of attractions and scenic drives.

I found this hotel by surfing around Google Maps along my route near where I wanted to stay and I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this gem! This was an all-around 5* stay and I hope to return someday. The rooms were perfect with a lovely view of the river and city below. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE and...

We loved this inn! Very nice, clean and comfortable room. The owners are on hand, very friendly and helpful. The inn is central to a number of great attractions and also provided access to books and wifi to keep you busy when you are staying in. The free continental breakfast was satisfying with several options, including bagels, toast, juices, coffee/tea,...

Dear SharonR, I'll mark down one vote for the cranberry-orange muffins. They seem to be about tied with our blueberry muffins, although the apple-cinnamon are coming in a close third! Thank you for submitting your review of the Cod Cove Inn.

We keep coming back. They are very friendly and professional. They have the best muffins, hard boiled eggs and different breads for breakfast. They have a great view from the top of the hill of Wiscasset, Maine. Large clean rooms. You can't go wrong staying here.

Dear Gardenweasel, Thank you for staying with us, and for your very nice comments. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. The view overlooking the Village of Wiscasset and the Sheepscot River is breathtaking, especially now that the leaves are beginning to change. All of our rooms have that same water view from either a private balcony or patio.

We stopped by chance as we didn't have reservations anywhere and saw it from Route 1. They checked us in and we were pleasantly surprised when we turned the key. Thank you for your kind words and for staying with us during your visit to Maine. Room 38 does have a breathtaking view.
