My family (kids ages 8-20) thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at Inn the Bush. We rented 2 of their 3 luxurious cabins. The owners seemed to anticipate all of our needs and if there was anything I asked for, it was taken care of. For example, 2 of my kids were flying in later than the rest of us, and... More

I stayed at Inn the Bush for 4 nights in the first half of May this year with my parents and wife and brother and sister in law, and it was absolutely wonderful! The setting is gorgeous, with beautiful and newish cabins. They're very nicely appointed and comfortable. Roeni and Robert were great hosts. They were very friendly and had... More

Very quaint eco-jungle resort only a short distance from San Ignacio towards Pine Ridge...nestled away at the end of the Mystic River Road this small resort has 4 or 5 private upscale cabanas, an in-ground pool and open air dining facility. Our hosts, Robb & Roe (surname spelling probably wrong) were very gracious hosts and our family dinner was delicious... More

We stayed with Rob and Roeni in early March this year and had a wonderful stay. The setting is quite amazing and the accommodations are very nice. We got to watch toucans in the surrounding trees on a daily basis....soo cool! I was very pleasantly surprised after reading a few comments about roads....the roads were no issue at all. The... We were travelling as a group of 5, 4 adults (myself, my husband and both our mothers) plus our 7 month old daughter. This Inn is most certainly in a remote location, but it is well worth the drive! It's a long 8 miles down a dirt road but once you get through the first time it does get a... More

Two families travelled from New Jersey, USA to spend a few days in San Ignacio. We were welcomed by the owners of Inn the Bush as we were family. The houses we stayed in were beautiful and very clean. The kids could not get enough of the pool at the end of the day. The food was amazing. Pork chops,... More

Inn-the-Bush is a unique and remarkable eco-lodge carved out of the jungle on ridgeline 30 mins south of San Ignacio. Off the grid doesn't mean you sacrifice anything as Rob and Roeni has built a state-of-the-art solar electric and rainwater collection and purification system that creates a wonderful oasis of modern hospitality in an otherwise dense tropical rainforest. The inn... More

Ok so the first drive out there, you are sure you must be lost. Then you arrive at the most beautiful sanctuary in the middle of the jungle. The cabanas are lovely. The grounds are beautiful. Robert and the kids cane to greet us and get us settled in with a drink in the open cabana. Roeni is an amazing... More

Sorry for the late response. Thank you Cookie for the lovely review although a little mixed. Inn The Bush was a very pleasant surprise! The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained. It is very secluded and private and our hosts, Robert and Roeni were fabulous. Inn The Bush is located in a prime spot for exploring, however, don't expect to make a "quick trip" any where as the roads do not allow for fast movement.... More
