The Riverside Inn is the kind of place I'm always hoping to find, but rarely do. The main building is an old house, imaginatively furnished with an eclectic assortment of Victoriana and antiques from other eras. There's a living room stuffed with books, a sitting room, a riverside patio, and a breakfast room that also overlooks the river. We didn't...

The Riverside Inn is a nice B&B to stay in if you are planning to go on a Puffin Tour in Maine. The couple that runs the inn are very friendly and the patio is a great place for a drink at the end of the day. Possibly the best part of the stay was the outstanding breakfast of pancakes...

We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for two nights while going on Puffin tours out of Cutler. We loved it here. Upon check in we were asked what we would like for breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was fantastic. A fresh fruit plate followed by Blueberry stuffed French Toast and sausage. We stayed in the upstairs room that is...

It certainly is not overwhelming at first sight appearance, but other area motel were full and we were pretty tired so we decided to stop and look. Rocky and Ellen downsized their restaurant to a B&B Inn and I am glad they did. Located overlooking a beautiful bend in the river just past a little village called East Machias on...

From the moment we arrived at the inn, we felt very welcome. The owners were more than happy to spend extra time helping us map out activities and sites to visit. She even wrote us out directions and suggested routes. We stayed in the upper coach room which was nice and quite, with fantastic view of the river. Rocky prepared...

We stayed two nights in the upper suite in the detached building adjacent to the Inn. The weather was rather rainy but the warm welcome and wonderful breakfasts made it a delightful stay. Rocky and Ellen, the Inn Keepers, both attended culinary training and the breakfasts were a testimony to their cooking skills. Rocky cooked our breakfast on the first...

In the summer of 2014 I had family come to visit, many of my friends had said the Riverside Inn and Restaurant was a nice place and the food was great so I suggested my family stay there. When I went to meet them I was pulling into the parking area when I was met by Rocky the owner who...

A colleague and I stayed at the Inn as we were in town on business. We were given two rooms in the detached building next to the Inn. Both were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We both appreciated being able to come to a cozy inn after a day of traveling. The Wifi was easy to connect to...
