The Lodge at Camden Hills is a very nice place to stay. The room we were in was a king room with all the normal amenities you would expect. Breakfast was placed on a hook outside our door in the morning. The keepers were friendly and helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lodge at Camden Hills. We traveled with our 2 small dogs. The accommodations were very nice. Often times, pet friendly stays do not offer equally luxurious linens and furniture. We have no complaints! Our dogs were happy as well. Easy access to downtown Camden and Lincolnville, hiking in the state park. Reasonably...

Wonderful experience. The rooms are exceptionally clean, well appointed, and quite comfortable. Each morning we were treated with either fresh local berry muffins or fresh baked croissants hung on our door. The rooms have a coffee maker and small fridge for water, cokes, etc. The location is very convenient to use as a hub for exploring the coast of Maine....

This was our second stay at this place and it was even better than the last time because they had added a complimentary breakfast in the morning attached to the outside of our door. The view from our room and the convenience of a refrigerator and microwave are great additions to the clean and large room. Our family gets together...

Despite our last minute trip to Penobscot Bay, the folks at the Lodge were very flexible in accommodating us and our golden retriever. We've stayed here many times over the years. Excellent service, revamped cabins. And the fresh muffins/croissants in the morning were great! Thanks! Joe

The Lodge at Camden Hills is high above the highway affording great views of Penobscot Bay. My cabin was two-tiered, with the galley, sitting area and bathroom below, and the bed up a few steps. Large space, excellent amenities, a simple but tasty breakfast every morning on the deck overlooking the substantial grounds and of course the sea. Very quiet...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Lodge at Camden Hills is one of the Camden's most scenic properties. Owned by the Burgess family for over forty years, the Lodge is a village of four cottages, four suites, and four standard rooms in five unique buildings across nine acres. With a view of Penobscot Bay ahead and Mount Battie directly behind us, it is easy to relax at the Lodge. Watch sailboats on the bay, wind-blown from island to island, from your private deck. Enjoy well-appointed, clean, and comfortable lodging. There is comfort in the privacy of your own space at the Lodge. Each room has a private entrance with parking and a deck with water views of Penobscot Bay. Our goal is to make our rooms as comfortable as possible. It is our experience that after a good night's sleep, Maine will work its magic on your mind and spirit! Our luxurious bedding by Cuddledown will lull you into a peaceful slumber. Our Maine-made comforters and pillows along with 400-thread count, 100% combed cotton bedding are inviting, soft, and comfortable. A continental breakfast basket is hung outside your door each morning so you can enjoy breakfast in your room at your leisure before heading out to explore the mid-coast. Start your morning with freshly-brewed coffee, tea, local baked goods, Maine-made Stonewall Kitchen jam, and orange juice. At day's end experience dramatically dark, star-filled skies, the robust smell of fir trees mixed with a little wood smoke, and cool air on your skin. Together these elements create an experience that is what Maine is all about. ... more   less
